I have been going to Verandah Club for the last year and really enjoy the classes offered and am impressed with the trainers. Each one is so well educated and experts in their niche. Their amiable personality and high-energy are intoxicating. And the classes are so unique and FUN! They just launched Burlesque dancing/toning this month, and I can't wait to try it!
I'm not a swimmer, but some of my friends joined bc Verandah Club is one of the few workout facilities in Dallas to offer an indoor lap pool. I heard it is the best.
I mention "hours" as a con because most of the classes are scheduled for corporate professionals (around 6am, lunch and early evening around 5pm) whereas I have a crazy work schedule. However, they do offer weekend classes and facility hours are very flexible.
Pros: Zumba, Kinesis, Power Yoga, Muscle Pump, Kickboxing
Cons: hours of classes
This gym doesn't feel like a gym at all, that is until you are running on their brand new treadmills and you start to sweat! The Verandah Club features an indoor pool, sauna, basketball courts, racquetball courts, an outdoor pool with a swim-up bar, rooms to take work out classes in, and anything else you could ever want in a gym. It's amazing!
Pros: Everything!
