Went there last night (Saturday night) and wow...there are no words for the amazement I was in. It felt like I was watching a car wreck....aweful, but I couldn't look away. I would say the majority of the crowd was between the ages of 35 and 55 with a few younger folks who seemed....out of place. The only people out on the dance floor at "Cages" (the hip hop/pop club) were wasted drunk and dry humping each other. The people on the dance floor with the 70's, 80's and 90's music were also way drunk or if not, they should have been because it was the funniest white people can't dance type of silliness I have seen in a long time. They were serious about it....their dancing that is. It wasn't like it was fun goofiness. Totally weird. I would recommend this place for those in their 40's and 50's who want to relive their hayday in total silly oblivion, but for the rest of us....I prefer a little more class.

City Streets is in downtown Ft Worth and is a great place to be on a saturday night. The crowd is young and it is always fun! The parking can be limited, so get there early!

we love going to this place, atmosphere is fun and no drama! Cops are everywhere, but that dosen't prevent you from having a good time. TCU type crowd, but musically they mix it up. Good Times!

I was in town this weekend for the game. I came to this club because I heard they played seventies and eighties music. The posters on the wall said the Indigo played seventies, eighties, and nineties. Usher? Lady Gaga? WTF? Since when are they seventies or eighties or even nineties? Lady Gaga was baby Gaga in the nineties for heavens sake. Half the so-called old school music I heard were crappy mash-ups and poor remixes of seventies and eighties music. If you are looking for genuine seventies and eighties avoid this place like the plague! Maybe if the deejay played real seventies and eighties music there would be more than six people on the dance floor at midnight. I think he was too busy playing with his computer. The other rooms all seemed to be playing the same stuff too just more hip hop and rap. Three rooms of the same stuff??? The Cages played top 40 but seemed to be aimed at a young ethnic crowd. I spent most of the time I was in that room watching big televisions. It seems out of place in a dance club, but it was more interesting than watching a bunch of dudes trying to hump a drunk chick on the dance floor. The Tabu Lounge seemed like it was for young Asians. There was some dance music but mainly hip hop. It had two dancing girls who looked like they were as happy to be there as I was. It seemed like the only difference was the age and color of the customers in each room. I think they should tear down the walls and make it one gigantic club, accept the different ages and races would have to mix. Maybe they dont do that in Fort Worth. The bartender was nice and made decent drinks, but the prices were nothing to write home about. I can't wait to get home to hear real seventies and eighties music.
Pros: Free parking. Nice bartender.
Cons: Bogus seventies + eighties music played by a hip hop deejay
i always hear alot bad reviews bout this place and yeah in way it could improve but i still have fun everytime i go out there to me good place to meet some wild women who r up for fun only if u know what i mean
Pros: fun place
It was my 21st bday and we were only there for an hour before some black guy hogging the karaoke mic kicked us out like a coward because I was mad that he wouldn't let my friend sing the song he signed up for when it came on. I wasn't being out of line, he was just mad that I made him look stupid on stage. The cops wouldn't even let me explain myself!!! I also agree that the drinks are weak and the bartenders didn't have a clue what they were doing. Also, like another reviewer said, cowboys are allowed to wear their hats and that dude on stage had one on too! (apparently the cop said the guy worked there but he def wasn't working or cared about his paying customers) The dress code online is not what they tell u at the door at all! There are so many other places to go to, so don't waste your time here unless you want to pay to be kicked out for no reason.
Friday I visited your club and I was dressed blazer/blue jeans/button up long sleeve cuff-link shirt, with a Kango hat that I had to leave at the desk. I don't see a Kango being styled as an undesirable apparatus to an outfit or too streetish. Besides when I got down stairs I seen a patron sporting a huge cowboy hat then 2 female patrons sporting solid color military styled hats not in uniform. All these patrons were white, I am a 32yr old black male that lacks a thug demeanor. I was turned away the week before for I was sporting a white V-neck T-shirt with no writing on it, as a result I searched your website for a dress code and have yet to find it. I am not one to play the race card for I think everyone should have the right to like whom they please and dislike whom they please for whatever reason they wish, and I wish to do the same. I am an extreme task master when it come to criticizing my people and their perception of the amount of respect others should give us so favor isn't my motives here, I will visit nite spots in Dallas for a different culture exist there than fort worth. I have the ability to conduct myself in a mature civilized manner I will not patron any spot with extreme type codes that hits me in the face upon entrance. I wish to mingle in an adult environment without feeling as though I'm in middle school again, if your crowd behavior has caused the need for such type codes, that states enough for me this is not a place I need to patron for I am out of place.
Pros: Nice size establishment.
Cons: Everything else.
City streets. The worst club in the dfw metro-plex. If you are from around here, then you should already know how horrible of a club it is. But, I'm writing this review for individuals who have not been and by all means do not go. To, start the drinks are very weak . They have to be the only club that actually uses jiggers. And if your going there to dance forget about it because the music was not consistent in any of the rooms. This club has 3 seperate areas to socialize with each room being worst than the other one; the dj horrible, bartenders are slow( at making weak drinks), and the management was rude and very unprofessional. And last, after getting my car from the valet I noticed an item missing. I double check the whole car just to be sure. So after searching for a couple of minutes we returned to a rude valet personal and very uncooperative management who even declined to talk to us within minutes of walking out of club. Thats why the new name is sh itty streets. :-) lol
I live in Dallas but have some friends in Fort Worth, so occasionally I make the drive and go to City Streets. I spend all night in the "Cages" room where they play a good mix of hip hop and top 40 on weekends. People seem nice and down to earth. Bartenders don't always give good service though. Good dancing, but after about 12:30 the small dance floor is so packed you can barely move. So that is a real downer and makes it hard to dance. This is a very large club that seems to have something for everyone. If you live in Fort Worth I'd definitely give it a try. You can park for free in the garage in Sundance Square.
Pros: large club with lots to do, good mix of people, good dancing
Cons: dance floor too small/packed after midnight, pretty bad service at the bar sometimes, not much fun on Thursdays
I moved from California to Fort Worth for a few years & found this club to be ok if I didn't want to take the Journey into Dallas. It's a great place for Happy Hour in fact there is a lot of corporate offices in Fort Worth & they usually go here after work. You can go to City Streets Website & enter yourself in a raffle & on Fridays you get free entry, free buffet & as many people as you want to go, I think that starts at 5:00pm?
Ok so the club offers pool tables in one room, karaoke in another room & 3 dance rooms with 80's, hip-hop & electronica. They have a great cigar collection so you can smoke a nice cigar in the club.
I had a good time every time I went.
Pros: Cigar Selection, 3 Rooms to Dance, Other bar/club around
Cons: Can get Crowded, Can Be empty, Parking
NEED A PLACE TO GO ON SATURDAY, CITY STREETS IS THE PLACE, IT PLAYS TECHNO, HIP-HOP AND HAS A WONDERFUL VIEW FOR MEN AND WOMEN OVER 21 YOU HEAR THAT YOU MUST BE 21 AND OVER..
