Planned Parenthood

I went for a pregnancy test at the clinic and did not have any money. They charge $10.00 for pregnancy tests. They were not able to see me but they did send me to another clinic that is not very far. So it all worked out.

Planned Parenthood is awful. They never answer their phone and seem to have problems getting things done. I needed to get my birth control refilled and they could not seem to remember to call it in to the pharmacy after repeated reminding and taking my name and information. I waited 5 days and about 50 phone calls later. They are never available when needed. How can they call themselves a place that is there to prevent pregnancy?

I had a surprise pregnancy when I was 20. I was married, and we had NO money. Someone suggested I go to the Planned Parenthood clinic. I thought they would be awful, but they weren't. They seemed to actually care about me and my unborn child. They answered all my questions honestly with very little bias. Said surprise pregnancy is now a healthy happy 12 yr old boy thanks to the help I received from Planned Parenthood.

I wanted to say that planned parenthood has a bad reputation and it is unwarranted. Planned Parenthood of West Texas brings quality services to low income families in this area. The People who answer the phones are polite and informative. The Registered nurse on call is kind and always gives a call back when needed. I reccomend planned parenthood to people who can't afford traditional gyno care.
