I Love, Love the staff and service at Sanctuary.
Shannon the best esthetician I ever had. I have a teenage son and will be back to see her. After my facial I had a massage with Androulla, what a passionate therapist, she took care of all my body aches and pains. Lunch was wonderful, pasta pesto chicken salad served with love. I asked who the owner was and I just want to say Brea the love shows in your Spa and staff. I will be back

Receptionist indicated I would get 10% off services after I inquired about birthday discount. However, she gave me only $10 off instead of $25. She was rude when I was explaining this to her and later said it is 10% off only one service, which still didn't add up correctly and I wasn't told this in advance. She then hung up on me without any closure. My birthday is special and it certainly didn't feel like it going to this place. A pity, because the facial was fabulous.

Fantastic Deep Tissue massage. I was truly impressed with Androulla, very knowledgeable and highly skilled massage therapist. I found Sanctuary to be very relaxed and friendly.

I had my first facial at Sanctuary D'Sante yesterday and it was one of the best I've EVER had. I can't say enough about Lindsey. She was wonderful and friendly. I thought the spa had a wonderful atmosphere. I am eager to go back!

If you're looking for a great facial, go see Lindsay at Sanctuary. She is absolutely awesome and I can honestly say that, after having 2 facials with her in the past few weeks, my skin looks better than it has in a long time. She really takes her time and customizes the facial to your specific needs. The facials are a little on the expensive side but worth every penny!

My friend gave me a spa gift for my birthday this year. I had a massage with Kristen and I have to say that this is the BEST MASSAGE I had to date! Her technique is very flowing and smooth. I came out of the massage totally relaxed and stress free. For my husband birthday, I booked a massage for him with Kristen and he totally loved it. While he had his massage, I had a facial. To be honest, facial is not really my thing since my skin is so sensitive. But the chair that you lay down on while having a facial is AMAZING. It's so comfortable and the service is excellent. Both my husband and I would go back just to get a massage from Kristen again!

If you want a truly wonderful experience this is the place to go. I went for a salt scrub, vichy shower, and massage. My overall experience was five star. I just moved to Houston from Austin and am a massage therapist myself. This spa is truly dedicated to do things right. From the time I made my appointment over the phone to the time I checked out I was very pleased with my experience. I loved how the vichy shower went from cold to hot. This is how hydrotherapy is supposed to work, but not many places actually do it this way. My massage was fantastic too. I'm glad I work close by because I will want to go on a regular basis. I'm not big on facials but I'll have to try them out since facials is what the spa is actually known for! If they are half as good as the body treatments I'll be spending lots of time there!

I came to this spa first for a great facial (The Cure, with Michelle) and it was phenomenal. It had a great massage built in and the Source Vital products are fantastic (a bit strong smelling at first if you're not used to it, but fabulous nonetheless). I didn't like the water bag that they had me lay on . . . it felt like a water bed and made me a bit uncomfortable but I would just ask for it to be removed next time and I'm sure it'd be no problem. Everyone at the Spa really wants to please the client.

I've gone in twice for the Shiro Byhanga with Reyne Nix and she is fantastic FANTASTIC massage therapist. I went in today for an 85 minute massage and I felt so relaxed afterwards. This is not some fluffy massage where you're just being touched. The girls at Sanctuary D'Sante really UNDERSTAND your muscles and how they interact and they really work to heal alleviate soreness and tightness from every day stress. Androulla is also fantastic. My favorite, however, is Reyne because not only is she a great therapist, she has a great attitude and always puts a smile on my face. She seems to really love her job and her clients and it shows.

I received a gift card for four of their services plus lunch. I can't wait to go again. Everything flowed so smoothly--from one service to another and even including the lunch - it was there waiting for me. My husband gave me the gift for our anniversary and now I want one for Christmas (hint hint). I had a facial, vichy, salt scrub and massage. The afternoon was the most relaxing I have ever felt in my life. The best of all was how my skin looked (face and body) after a few days. My breakouts were gone - like magic and the salt scrub made my skin feel like silk (my husband loved it too - he could not keep his hand off my legs especially). I highly recommend this spa and can't wait to go again. Everyone was so friendly and you feel like you have known them forever. I even got hugged by two of the technicians before we parted.

I like the facial and the steam, but the products are pretty strong smelling so you have to get used to them. They last forever if you take some home, and after a while the pungent fragrance will grow on you!

I cannot say enough good about this place and it makes me sad when I read that someone was having a bad day and did not enjoy this wonderful and caring place. I travel a lot and spend time in spas across the US. I have to say that the services are of the highest quality of any place I have been. The technicians are trained very well in the services I have had. I have been back many times and consider myself a regular. The hardest part is to get a facial anywhere after having one of their facials. I have become spoiled. Nothing else even comes close to the experience, how my skin feels and what it looks like when I leave. The products they use during the facial feel great. I met the owner, Brea, a couple of times and I feel that she really cares about how you are treated. She has had the Sanctuary for a long time what I got from speaking to her is that she is very involved with her staff. Her employees speak very highly of her. I think everyone should go to Sanctuary Spa.

I scheduled a package as a birthday present from my husband. The techician was late and rushed through the treatments. After some time I was offered another treatment with a different lady. The atmosphere was not inviting when I returned. The place was clean and the lady that does the hot stone massages was great. Because of the attitude of the workers I will not return.

I got the Lavish facial and it was the best facial I have ever had. It cleared my skin w/o any irritation afterwards. Most spas claim that the facial comes with a massage and the therapist barely bothers. At this spa, a real massage was actually performed.

Received a gift certificate from a friend for the Sancuary Spa D' sante. For my first spa experience it was great for a beginner. I was treated very nicely as I walked in, I was expecting a snooty environment, which really it was not. They asked if I would like some tea to drink for my stay, which was very welcoming, I might add. Then within 5 minutes of walking in I was led to my first salt scrub, which was a 30 invigorating message/scrub with scented oils that smelt sensational. For the first time most would think it weird having to undress and position yourself on the table to have someone you do not know message you. But really it was great, and relaxing, not a weird at all. Then they led me to my second package, the restorative facial, which topped my visit off perfectly, the treatment lasted about an hour, from washing, scrubbing, extractions and moisurizing which had the benfits of an upper body messages was just great.

I would definately recommended to a close friend.

I have been to Sanctuary a few times now; and I have to say it is one of the best day spas I've been to. Brea, the owner, is so nice... you feel like she is your personal hostess on some magical journey into the beautiful world of Sanctuary Spa. It's just a different world as soon as you walk in the door, the colors, the scents, the sounds. I recently had a treatment in their spa tub with Quinn -- fantastic! I got a seaweed bath with underwater massage, and came out feeling totally energized. Facials at Sanctuary are second to none, and I have never had waxing, but my girlfriends tell me this spa is the best in the city for Bikini and Brazilian. I am an official Sanctuary enthusiast. It's a great spa for someone to have a first time spa experience at-- You won't be disappointed.

Everything has been wonderful--fantastic deep-tissue massages, frank conversation with the receptionist regarding services new to me (which helped me make the leap), and my first-ever non-brow waxings, including a Brazilian, which were delivered pleasantly and efficiently, but never perfunctorily. (Go for the No-Scream Cream, it was worth it.)

I've been to a couple of other local spas and have found Sanctuary d'Sante to fit my needs the best--it's not snooty, everyone is knowledgeable and friendly, it's in a convenient location, and they are spot-on with appointments. I'm looking forward to our couples' reflexology foot massages and paraffin treatments for Valentine's.

I can't believe the review that was posted earlier....I have been too many spas in various parts of the States and found the experiences I've had at Sanctuary D'Sante the absolutely best ever. Nothing else compares to their facials. I find their spa to be one of the most beautiful and relaxed enjoyments of all times. I have been a client since they first opened and have always...always had a wonderful adventure. It is a totally beautiful environment....

Worth every penny. The best money i have spent in some time.
They make it easy to come in, i didn't have to leave work, my appointment was at 7:30pm.
Friendly, professional staff (Sohalia (sp?) has magic hands).
Soothing relaxing atmosphere.
I can't wait to go back.

It all began when they told me to slip the robe on. First of all, the robe was 5 times too big. The spa slippers turn out to be MEN'S TUBE SOCKS!
"Traumatic experience" in the seaweed wrap..... As the facial was drawing to a close, the water pillow burst and gushed onto the floor.
They soaked my feet in a stainless steele kitchnaid bowl!
I spoke with Ray, the manager, to see about rescheduling. I literally had to BEG to reschedule the rest of myspa day. I didn't want to be reprimended and charged.
I sent a pretty detailed email to Brea and never received a reply.
NOTHING was done and $800 was flushed LITERALLY down the toilet!! Not even an apologie was extended! I suggest you hop on a plane and go to the Bellagio in Vegas...it would be cheaper ..... with the airfare included!

Best Brow Wax - they did it the best. Used to go to a top spa in the Woodlands, now I drive to Houston to get it done. Sanctuary is the best!!!!

I was not sure about having the tub soak. I was surprised. It was really great. The woman at front desk suggested that I try it before my massage. It did make a difference in the relaxation level. Now I am curious about other services they offer. They obviously know what they are doing by the way they organize the services and how they make you feel. The massage therapist was one of the best I have ever had.

Experience - yes! I have never had an experience at a spa before. Don't quite know how to describe the feeling. It somehow felt like I was not in Houston, but traveling somewhere in the world. I was treated so well and OMG!----the facials and massage are unbelievable. I read the reviews before I went and everyone is right - they are great. I don't know how they created such a comfortable place with such high quality service. And.......it does not stink - it smells great. The smell is part of the atmosphere.

I was surprised to find this spa was so comfortable to me as a man. Many spas seem to be more concerned with women as their clients and decorate for the woman. I felt this spa had services that were "manly" even though they did not advertise that. My wife took me with her for my first visit (reluctantly) and I was surprised at just how great it really was. I have been back twice now and plan to make this a regular part of my health endeavors.

I am a spa girl. I love spa going. When I found them (Sanctuary Spa d'sante) I thought I was in heaven. Everything they do is top notch. I have had facials, waxing, lash tinting, spa tub and scrubs as well as massage. They are very good at what they do! I did find one of the receptionist a little standoffish, but everything else was absolutely great.

Best Spa I have ever been tried. I have traveled the world and the services here are of the highest quality. They seem to have some knowledge about the body and their treatments are very therapeutic. I felt so good after having the tub treatment and the massage. I also had a facial and waxing. The facial was unbelievable and the waxing was the best - they pay attention to detail removing my ingrown hairs and very thorough.

This is THE BEST spa in Houston. It really does feel like a retreat. The staff is so nice, and so casual- never snobby like some other places. The interior is wonderful. I hate to even tell you how wonderful the massages are, because they are so in-demand already! I dream about this place when I'm away...

I was visiting from out of town and decided to go here because I read they were the best waxers in Houston. My experience was excellent. I had a brazilian wax. The service was very thourough and professional. I felt very comfortable even though it was my first time there. I would recommend going there for a wax. I would be a regular there if I lived in Houston!

I have FINALLY found a place where I can say that they are the best!!! I had a brazilian wax, done by a LICENSED(VERY IMPORTANT, EVERYBODY!!!!) individual.
I was so amazed at the comfort and professionalism that was exhibited! I am hooked on this place!

i mean bada bing that place is the best bet in houston spa treatments they got this here green stuff they slather upon your grill and it gets all tingly then it starts to burn a little.......oh and datdatdat bubbley bath tube for your walking stumps that gets all vibraty that thing is where i want to die

I have been a customer of Brea's since the mid-80's. I have followed her up and down Richmond and all around the Timmons corner. The Restorative Facial is my favorite. It's like a mini-vacation and you leave with a glowing complexion. It doesn't seem to matter which esthetician I get, they have all been wonderful! The last time I was in, Lindsay did my service. Wow! Can't wait to go back.

I found the staff and the surroundings nice. I did not, however, find the sunless tanning worth it. You have to keep going back and spending more money and more time. I've had the same thing done elsewhere in Houston and received much better results in one application - for a LOT less money. I'm sure their other services are nice, but I will not be going back for that one.

I had the pleasure to work with and selling the products of Source Vital which is part of Santuary D'sante and even was trained to do the treatments too. However to recieve the treatments from Santuary brought a whole new level of Euphoria. It was the most amazing treatments, atmosphere, treatments, products i have ever experienced. The environment from walking through the door to walking out of the door is absolutly unreal! The staff has knowledge beyond your belief and can make you feel brand new person. IT IS A GREAT IDEA FOR HUSBAND TO DO FOR WIVES!!! HINT HINT!

I love their Facials as well as everything else I've tried there. I recently had the Fuot Bain and it was wonderful. I highly recommend this spa. It's well worth the 30 minute drive I have to get there.
