On Sunday November 24, before the Holidays I took my 2009 Mini Cooper this Firestone in Carrollton, TX for an oil change and also notified them I was having problems with my antifreeze and asked them to check it. Upon pick up I was told everything was fine, no problem. On Friday November 29, my car overheated while driving home from Thanksgiving and was unable to turn back on. I chose to tow my car back to the same Firestone thinking they would be able to help and fix the problem that could have been easily prevented. After leaving my car at the location for 4 hours, I was told that there was a leak in the "complicated" thermostat system and they were unable to determine what caused the problem. The byproduct of that was internal damage to my engine, but they refused to diagnose the problem because "we're not going to mess with that". Every Firestone I have taken my cars to previously have gone above and beyond during the Courtesy Check to prevent potential problems. This time I addressed the issue beforehand and it was either a) not given proper attention or b) Firestone was not fit to do maintenance on this type of car. Instead of an apology I was given the comment they did not have a "crystal ball" and could not predict car problems. I understand busy schedules before the holidays and I should have been responsible and looked at the cooling fluid myself, but with having it looked at by a professional auto care mechanic I thought my car was good to go. This is incredibly disappointing in the overall work of Firestone and even more in the customer service I received post the issue. This is more than just frustrating, after towing my car from the Firestone to another mechanic I was told the engine is non repairable. Firestone has not even offered an apology, or any sort of response. I realize I am just one consumer, but it is very disheartening to see this happen after trusting Firestone with all my previous vehicles.

I went to gat an alignment there because they were the only place open last sunday. when I picked up my car the manager said every thing was good and did not show me the printout until I asked. He showed me really quick and said the car was good. I drove down the street and it still pulled so I went back and he wouldn't even look at it again. His response was that he gets his car aligned every month and it still pulls. Bad attitude and poor work. I will not go back

ok people you wait at a doctors office do you complain do you want them to hurry up and get you on your way do you not want to know things that could cause a breakdown leave you stranded oh sorry bet youll wait then if all you want is cheep coupon go to walmart you pay for what you get im ase tech for 20 years im the honest one get to know who is working on your car not the front office AND I DONT WORK FOR FIRESTONE

amazing services, car had so many problems and i wanted to sell it, till they finished working on it and made it run just like new...I recommend precision tune to everyone and i was helped by jay, i thank all your help.

I was left in the waiting area for 45mins after told by Mike that he was going to check to see how long for my car and did not come back,
I was told when dropping my car off at 7am be done by 2pm 2 came I went to the shop and was told by Mike hell go see how long and I waiting 45mins before he came back and I asked him why it took him 45min he said oh I did not know you where going to wait..hmm I was there to pick my car up ok...another 3 hours later I was told my car will be another 45min another hour sorry yr car will not be done today....I was and still not a HAPPY CAMPER

They are upfront and honest with you. They've came straight out and told me that certain things would just be a waste of money, or vice versa. Great place, great people, good job!!

Although I had never been to their shop before, I had heard good things about them from neighbors and other online revi... (Full Review) Although I had never been to their shop before, I had heard good things about them from neighbors and other online reviews. Decided to give them a try on a 90K mile maintenance, including a timing belt replacement. The car ran OK before they got their hands on it; a few hours later, it ran SO much better it was hard to believe that it was the same car. Immediately left on a road trip (2,500+ miles) and it performed perfectly. Mileage was about 20% better, too.
They did not try to talk me in to any questionable extra procedures. Everything that they recommended was explained in understandable language, along with a justification. I was told that some work could be deferred to a future time, and I was not pressured to "do it now" instead.
They have a sign in their waiting room that says something like: "Others may charge less, they obviously know the value of their work." But top-quality work is worth more, and they're still less expensive than going to a dealer.
I'll be back!

Firestone, is a rip off. Don't ever go there unless you don't care to waist your money and they are very slow and are not personable. They try to take advantage of women and try to replace everything under the hood. Pick City Garage, they do a much better job and are very friendly.
