Fitness Connection - Greenspoint

I hated this gym. I paid $30 a month to swim laps in a FREEZING pool with wild 12 year old monsters under no supervision. The staff is unprofessional, a good chunk of the members are ghetto, and a lot of the members don't speak a lick of English. And, after reading another comment prior to mine, I agree that the place is a bit dirty and very few of the members use towels (health hazard anyone?) Now, a year and a half later after canceling my membership there, I receive a bill from a collection agency for over $100. I can't provide proof that I sent in the cancellation form, so now I have to pay it before they post to my credit on Friday. They don't give a flippin crap about their members, only about covering their dirty rears. Don't expect too much of this place - they located in "Gunspoint" after all...

Had a memebership there for about a year because I worked very nearby. Decent equipment but it is located in a really poor area. There was actually a murder/suicide complete with SWAT team about 40ft away last year. Combined with being charged after canceling my no contract memebership I would avoid and go somewhere you are safe.

I would have to agree with the person that says that they stole his/her money...The one trainer that work-out with is not very focused on appointments that he has....FRONT DESK-ughhh Bad attitude, and moody! They will not make an effort to help out when asked. Other than that it is a GREAT place to work out! awsome, big and clean cardio area lots of equipment and huge pool. If you can get passed the bad customer service then I definitely recommend it!

I started with a personal trainer at the beginning of Feb 09, after 2 and 1/2 weeks of training, and getting comfortable and sharing my personal fitness info, I return to my next session only to be stood up. I ask the staff where my trainer was and if he was in or out sick and no one knew anything. This went on for about a week and 1/2. Finally I spoke with the manager after being given the run around for almost 2 weeks, and they set me up with another trainer, who had a completely different regimen of things to learn and start completely over. I felt like I wasted the first 2 & weeks. So after getting adjusted to a new Personal trainer, and again sharing person fitness info, things went on for about 3 weeks while the trainer missed several appointments without notice, then I show up for a session to find again, he is not there, with not even a phone call. Once again I asked the staff where is my trainer and no one could answer me. And this went on for another week of inquiry. Only to find out that he is no longer employed. My money has been wasted, and am demanding my money back for the remaining 6 sessions that I have not used. I had also purchased products as requested by one trainer only to be told by the other, I should have bought something else in the line, I feel that it would be very demeaning and humiliating to have to disclose more of my personal info about my fitness to their rude staff. I was not even given the courtesy of a call nor an apology at either time when I made blank trips for days I had appointments scheduled, or for being given the run around about the status of my trainers employment, and such rudeness shown to me by the mgmnt staff during the process. No one would give me the time of day while I was attempting to get info. They didnt want to be bothered with me unless I spent more money. I do not want to continue personal training with this snotty business, I WANT MY MONEY BACK. They have wasted my time, and are attempting to steal the remainder of my money spent.
