Goode Company Seafood

It amazes me to read reviews left by individuals who know nothing about the quality and operational side of a restaurant. I have been dining at the Goodes seafood location on I-10 since it opened in 2001 and the consistancy you get from the food, service and atmosphere is second to none. The food is always the highest of quality and if there is an issue, the management at the store will solve the issue right a way. The service is fast and severs attentive. The bar area reminds me of Cheers where everybody knows your name and the regulars fill the seats every night. I highly recommend the Camppechana Extra with shrimp and crabmeat; it's the best.

This review is for Goode Company Seafood on Westpart/Kirby. Absolutely horrible!!!! Terrible food! Pathetic service. I'm still trying to get the taste of the gumbo out of my mouth. I will never go again. The waiter was atrocious. Don't tell me you are out of something I ordred as you are bringing out the meal. You may want to suggest something else....or not.... Too bad, I used to frequent this restaurant and will never again... DISGUSTING!

Food was ok service was bad manager was missing. Went there for my birthday ended up with a beer in my lap and then was charged for the beer.Asked to speak to manager after waiting 20 min we just paid the bill and left.We wont be going back.In fact our visit to the Kirby location was not much better .Food was cold and management was missing .

We love Goode Co Seafood! The campechana extra is maybe the most tasty thing I have ever had- I liked it so much I tried to make it at home but the result was hardly the same. It is overpriced- especially their crawfish during the season. The poboys and the mesquite fish/shrimp are always delicious and the pecan pie is fantastic. The place is very open, lively, and fun. You have to go- even if it's just for the campechana extra.

High quality of food, very filling, but not alot. High qyulaity, low quantity. Great location, fast service and quickly got seated. Good place to eat, but not the greatest. A place you need to eat once-twice a year.
