Bushwacker Salon & Day Spa

This is by far the best salon in Houston. Candice did an excellent job on my highlights. I look sun kissed. And I recommend Rene for anyone looking for an awesome haircut. I have never been more pleased with the service at a salon. Everyone there is very friendly.

I remember the first time I walked into Bushwacker 5 years ago. Another salon had beached my hair to a ridiculous & embarrassing color of blonde which didn't suit me. I walked into Bushwacker very shy and explained what happened. My nervousness instantly disappeared . They were all so kind and understanding. Chris took charge and explained what he could do, and a couple hours later, my hair was a wonderful color.

In the last 5 years, I have had the pleasure of both Chris and Jennifer coloring, cutting & styling my hair. I can only say, that I have had the best service here since living in Houston. They both can trim, cut, style and color to perfection. My color is the best, and besides my friends (even friends from high school) commenting on this transformation, my husband dones! Do I say more?

Please ask for either Chris or Jennifer. You will not be disapointed. And let me not forget.... Lisa gives a great eyebrow waxing & shaping too.

The owner Mary Jane has not only assembled a topnotch and creative group of people for her salon, occasionally you also get invited to an art showing, in her salon, displaying some of her employees' and local artists' artwork. This shows you the high level of creativity and community surrounding this wonderful place.

wow, I got a massage from ken ,he was great .he gave me a totally relaxing massage ,he can do deep pressure if you like that. The stress in my body just melted off me. everybody was very friendly and treated me like a queen. he would highly recommend getting a massage from ken. and then I got my hair done by jennifer ,she is great,she knows all the current styles and she was so nice ,we have become friends.they are very good at fitting in a very busy person like myself. it's like a onestop shop here ,I get my nails ,hair ,facial,and my massage here.I love it here ,I'm going to tell all my friends about ken for massages and jennifer for hair.everybody here was very professional and friendly to me .

I got my then fiance a surprise massage here for his birthday. I hadn't heard anything about Bushwacker before and my usual salon by my house was all booked up, so I decided to try this one. He had never had a massage before and was nervous. The whole hour, I was worried I had made the wrong decision in getting him one. When he came out he said that it was the best experience of his life. They made him feel totally comfortable. He actually fell asleep on the table. I have never seen him so relaxed. He has since been to a different salon (my usual place), another gift, and said it didn't even compare to Bushwacker. He swears he will never go anywhere else again and has been bugging for months now to set up an appointment.

This is a fabulous salon- my entire family has been coming here for 4 years. This is one of the best in Houston, without a doubt! Daniel is a true genius of color, cut, and if you want them, he'll offer great creative ideas for "that new" do! Everyone there is very professional and knows what they're doing. The massages and facials are quite possibly the best in the city, as are the manicures/pedicures. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Everyone is so helpful and genuine- no sales pressure. If you want a GREAT cut, go to Bushwacker's and ask for Daniel!
