2 Stars: EXTREMELY disappointed. (by Essjay)

I bought an English budgie for my 10-year old son at this store on December 26, and he died yesterday, exactly one week later. The store has offered to get me another budgie when one becomes available, but they refuse to give me a refund. They're telling me that the bird was "fine" when I took him home, and that he had been eating and drinking. I was made to feel as if *I* did something wrong. The owner then informed me that he should have been eating the same type of food they had been feeding him in the store. I was NOT given this information when I purchased the bird. All in all, I am not at all happy with this store. I spent $136 total on the bird, a cage, and toys, yet they are unwilling to refund me the $40 cost of the bird or give me a store credit. They want to give me another bird, when frankly, I don't have much confidence in any other bird I would get from them.

good fish inventory and the people where ok,but the prices whoa nelly,even items you can find readly elsewhere were overpriced,very clean organized

This is a perfect place to get your new pet. A couple of days ago I went there to get some fish for our Science classroom. They had great stuff and empleyees were so kind!!!

was told completely different information by 2 different people within minutes, the second person i spoke with told me to go ahead and do what the first said. i ended up purchasing something only to find out later that it was overpriced by 50% and that it was not what i needed but that the company makes a similiar item that would have been perfect for me. there is a reason there are no cash refunds, only store credit. i am extremely dissapointed and would only consider going back because of the nice seclection of aquatic plants. the fish selection is alright, theyre healthy and have a few rare types.

My pet was injured twice during grooming. The first time he was bleeding from the rectum - they were very apologetic and recommeded some remedies. I quit going there for a while, but thought it was an isolated incident and due to the convenient location, I returned. However, the last time I went there my dog limped for two days and I thought I was going to have to take him to the vet. I will not go back again!

If your looking for fish or pet supplies, this is a great place, wonderful selection of collars and leashes. The owners are really nice. Very helpful..but as far as dog grooming goes, don't do it!!! No dog likes being groomed, but they shouldn't leave the place sore.!!!

Uncommon and rare fish are more easily available here than most other places in Texas. Has caring staff with good advice and information. Some of the fish prices are high, which is understandable since few other places even have them. Highly recommended for fish and other pets!

I love this pet shop. They have a great selection of foods and supplies. But, their aquarium and fish selection is terrific. Plus, they actually know what they're talking about! How many times have you gotten incorrect info from chain pet stores that hire kids with little or no knowledge to work in their fish room? This place is terrific. You can trust that they're giving you accurate info and not just trying to sell product. Plus, they have great groomers and charge reasonable prices for the service. I can't say enough about this East Dallas gem!

This very nice pet store has a large selection of fish, both salt-water and freshwater. They also have a open pond with a selection of koi. It is also a good place to get birds as many of their parrots have been hand-raised. They also have a good supply of large-sized aquariums that would be great for a salt-water set up.

My kids love this place. They like to dress our poodle with different accessories they have. This place is an entertainment for my children. Not only do they have supplies, and accessories, but fish and different types of pets. Great and friendly service. Highly recommended for all to stop by and check this place out.
