Sally Beauty Supply

I just bought clippers that do not work and tried to return them for my money back or store credit. The clerk would not give me my money back or give me store credit because the clippers were not sanitary and the sale was therefore final. I explained to her that I never used them because they did not turn on and it really did not matter if they were sanitary or not as they do not work and could not be sold. She said she was just doing her job. When I bought the clippers, I asked the clerk if I could see the electric clippers behind the counter for trimming hair. She tried to sell me battery operated nose hair trimmers, so I finally gave up trying to get help and bought the clippers that do not work. Anyway, I will dispose of the clippers that do not work and will never go back.

Sally Beauty Supply seems like it would be a store for professionals, with a staff of trained professionals. They are not. Although I like a lot of their products, I don't like tthe staff. They don't know what they're talking about. I am a licensed cosmetologist, and I've overheard one of the employees telling a customer some VERY WRONG information.
If you're going there for something specific, and you know exactly what you need to get the desired results, it's a good store. But do not go there with intentions of them telling you what you need - they'll most likely only tell you what they want you to buy so they can make money.

Sally's has everything that you need to care from head to toe. They carry a long list of items from hair and nail care to everything you could possible need for you salon. They also have a discount card for you to carry and pay even less for your purchase. Great place to shop if you are looking for these things.

I really love shopping at Sally Beauty Supply. I never interact with the staff except at checkout and the cashier always seems nice. If you know what you are looking for, this is a great place to find great products at good prices. I love their nail supplies and cosmetics.

I visit Sally's often for hair and other beauty products. They have very good sales that are better than some of the discount stores. I like their selection of nail supplies, tweezers as they are like the professionals use.

The staff can be unhelpful and inflexible, but if you know what you're looking for and it's not readily available in drug stores, you can probably find it here. Just make sure you know what you're doing or have a licensed beautician helping you if you get the dye sets. They have a weird return policy too--some items you can't return even if they've never been open.
