Thanks Dr. Rowe!
by Lauren C.
Our beagle was found in a dumpster, covered in ants when she was a pup. Dr. Rowe rehabilitated her and worked with the Houston Beagle Rescue to find her a good home our home! Dr. Rowe worked with us for several months after to get her mange under control the clinic was always helpful, friendly, and very, very generous! We have been going to this clinic for 2 years now, and very much appreciate all the they do. The wait time is frustrating, but I have learned to call ahead before we leave the house. It seems that Dr. Rowe doesnt turn anyone away and doesnt rush, but she doesnt pack up at closing time either shell make sure that everyone is taken care of at the end of the day.

Excellent Vet
by K T.
I have brought my dogs to Dr. Rowe for the past 15 years and I can tell you she is one of the best vets I have ever known. She has taken care of three different dogs for us and she and her staff are nothing but caring, compassionate people. Highly recommend her!!! Do not expect hoopla or fancy clinic. She sees your pet and takes care of the problem with a cool collected head. Could not ask for better!

Advocate for Dog Rescue Organizations
by PENNY C.
I made an appointment to visit Gosling VC because they generously donated a gift certificate for a free pet microchip service to the Houston Beagle Rescue organization, which I won at the Reliant Dog Show last weekend. They were able to offer me several appointment times and were very friendly on the phone as well as at the office. I arrived at their office over a half hour early and they took me in right away. Our community is so lucky to have such helpful, friendly staff and especially for being a supporter of dog rescue organizations. THANK YOU!

Dr. Rowe is in the know.
by A S.
Dr. Rowe has taken care of our pets since 2003. We take our pets to Gosling Road Clinic when they need vaccinations or if they are sick or injured. Dr. Rowe has always been able to figure out what was going on with our babies without running expensive and unnecessary tests. She reviews the symptoms and her diagnosis and treatment plans have consistently been correct. Gosling Road Veterinary Clinic is also the least expensive place near the Woodlands for vaccinations. While there are some negative effects of visiting (mainly the wait time), anyone who lives near this clinic knows this is where you take your pets in an emergency situation. The offset to this is sometimes you have to wait, even if you had a scheduled appointment.

Good Vet
by An O.
Honest hard working country vet with a good heart. Some of the reviews below are quite frankly way out of line. You had to vaccinate your animal? Wow what a shame. You need an appointment? Wow what a shame. Seriously call ahead and make an appointment, or see what is going on, don't expect the world to bend to your wishes. Anyway, sometimes there IS a wait, but for a good vet, with good prices, overlook the wait.

Unexpected cost
by Karen A.
I took two male cats to this clinic to be neutered. I was quoted $55.00 for each cat. When I picked them up I found out that they had given them each two booster shots that I didn't ask for and charged me $10 each for the "disposal of body parts". The shots were $15 each which added $60 to my bill, plus the $20 for "disposal".

Extremely unhappy with this Vet!
by andy e.
After moving here from FL, I took my dog to get his shots here last year. I had an appointment for 5 pm. and did not leave the place until 8 pm.
Also my dog is really sick, he's all shaky and doesn't want to walk. I'm freaking out today, finally I decided to just take him to the clinic. They TOTALLY DENIED seeing my dog without an appointment. Hello??? Don't they see that he's really sick and in pain. I wouldn't have driven all the way to the clinic if I wasn't freaking out about his health..
JERKS.
DO NOT GO HERE. I'm switching to MY FAMILY VET.

I took my cat to this vet to have her shots and to be spayed. Later that day after having given her a shot of penicillin and still in the care of the vet my cat passed away. The vet said that someone was in there with her watching her but I don't see how that is true and she still didn't survive. Something so routine should not have killed my cat.

Get ready to wait
by Anonymous
I took my two dogs there based upon the reviews listed here - I am beginning to wonder if the rave reviews were not written by the staff. I had an 11:00 appointment and did not leave there until 1:00. While I was waiting, they worked in a walk-in patient into the schedule before me - despite me having a set appointment. When I questioned this, the staff explained non-chalantly that is just how it is. After waiting 1 1/2 hours with a lab and a nervous chihuahua, they did offer me a drink. I agree with the reviews that the vet fees were reasonable but at what cost to my time and growing frustration. When I inquired about how much it would cost to have my dog's bad tooth removed, I never got a straight answer. All I heard about was how the xray machine was broke and that they would have to outsource the service. I then purchased heartworm medication and dog chews. I discovered when I got home, the staff had forgot to give me the dog chews. I had to go back to get the chews I was charged for. In addition to all this, their computer was not working and was slow. This was a very unpleasant experience and I found the staff to be disorganized and not quick to be helpful.

Heart of GOLD

I found the clinic to be clean and fresh. Dr Rowe was very pleasant with my cat and the prices are very fair. The Dr did not offer unnecessary tests. I got several trial samples of kitty food. The staff was very knowledgeable about products for fleas, also I found them to be very kind.

Nothing Better
by Tony A.
While the building is not Fancy. The veterinarian here has a lot of heart. You will be self assured that your baby gets treated with
compassion and professional treatment.
Prices are fair and service is good. Just be prepared to wait a little. The Vet here takes time to talk with you and Never rushes anyone
out the door.

AB FAB SERVICE!!!
by Anonymous
WOW! Talk about a COUNTRY VET OFFICE! LOL It's a trailer building that smells like a true vet office (if you get my meaning) . . :)
I was deseperate to take my kitty to a vet I could afford. My cat had one of those "smelly" egg hatched turned into worm gross infections and WHOA - I ain't never seen that before! I went to these folks and what a blessing. They cleaned it, treated it, told me what to do and now I wish I could tie my cat down because she is too FRIGGIN HAPPY and getting into everything (not to mention making all kinds of noises with knocking things down, off, etc.)! Yup, I'm takin all my other family members there! Hooked for life!

by jolyn h.
we have 2 very old dogs and have 4 cats. since we moved here 10 years ago we have taken them here for everything. with all this animals, there are alot of bills that need to be paid. the prices are awesome and the service is VERY friendly. when we come in to pick up an animal, they always remember whos animal is ours. they even remember things that our animals have done [like when my kitten bit an assistant :-P]
PROS: everything is really good
CONS: they kind of smell a bit but its not a big problem. its a vet.

Gosling Road veterinary clinic is wonderful. They are a small business so they are very affordable. Pet bills can be very expensive. I have taken my animals there for many years and they are always very kind and caring. They are open until 6pm or sometimes later. They are even open on Saturdays. My cat had to be rushed there recently and they took action quickly to save his life. I am very thankful for the people at this clinc. I will always take my animals there.

Gosling Road Clinc is where we take all our family pets. We even take our ginea pig there. They are so nice and friendly. Their prices are great too. If you cannot pay the bill they will let you work out a payment plan. They really care for animals there. It is a bit small but I love supporting the small businesses in my area too.
