My whole family uses One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating, and we have all been pleased with the service. In particular, last year they found an electrical issue with our heater before we turned it on for the winter, which was caused by a lightning strike. I shudder to think what would have happened if we had not had it checked. Get your regular maintenance - and use One Hour!

I have been using One Hour Heating and AC now for over two and a half years for preventative maintenance on my Home Heat / Ac System, and they have been keeping my system running Flawless considering my system is over 15 years old, and no failures throughout the past scorching summer we all just experienced. When the Service Techs arrive, they are always very courteous, respectful of household, Wear protective shoe covering, and place protective floor covering when entering attic etc. When the need for a part replacement has been necessary such as weak or faulty start up capacitor etc, the purpose for the replacement been clearly explained and justified. I would recommend this company to anyone, and they are prompt and always keep you advised of their scheduled arrival time. I will definitely give this company very strong consideration, when the time comes for me to upgrade / replace my old system. In the meantime, they have been keeping my old system running great!

I bought a home 3 years ago and my unit had to be totally replaced. The technician Ted came out to my home and explained everything to me step for step. I do not trust many people but after getting a second opinion and that opinion from another company was $6,000.00 more than this company, I called them back asap. My new unit runs great and they offered me a membership opportunity and we took it. I don't ever want to go through another company ever again.

The service was prompt. Casey was our tech and he was here within an hour which was great. Having your AC out in Sept is no joke in Dallas. He said it was the controller board on our furnace which is the only thing that had not been replaced in the last 3 years. He did manage to bypass it and just have the fan go continuously so we could have AC while we wait for them to give us an estimate on the cost to repair the system. This cost us approx 100.00 including the service call. The place where they lose points from me is the fact that his was the last we heard from them. No estimate has been received on the cost to do the repair. So we will have to now shop it with other repair shops and get an estimate to repair it for real and not just a "patch repair" that we got from One Hour. I appreciate that we get to shop in AC, but it would have been nice to have them follow up as they should have.

In mid-August, 2011, at height of record heat wave in Dallas, our AC went out at home in late afternoon. I got home from work late, at 9:00 PM, temperature in house between 90 and 100, called One Hour. They moved us to the top of the wait list because we were on their twice a year system check plan ($17/month). Repairman arrived within an hour, was very nice, very professional, really knew his stuff, diagnosed problem in the dark with a flashlight in about ten minutes (fried capactitor) which he determined was still 5 days within One Hour's one year warranty from earlier service by One Hour last August, and so replaced at minimal cost. AC system was fixed by 11 PM. Total cost $160, fixed in two hours from call to cool air, saved us at least one night's hotel stay and a huge hassle. In my book, this was nothing short of a miracle, both as to speed and cost of repair. Being on the maintenance plan saved us several hundred dollars and having to unexpectedly go to a hotel late at night. They've performed some other repairs at other times, have always done a good job for us, on time, avoided tracking in dirt, cleaned up well after themselves. No complaints, quality work, reasonable charges.

I joined their Comfort Club that gives me discounts on service and even parts and labor. I also get tune-ups twice a year that check everything. Thanks to One Hour my air conditioner and furnace haven't needed any major repairs. What I like most about One Hour is there are no surprises with the prices. They tell you exactly what needs fixing and how much it costs. I know some other companies charge by the hour so you don't know the total until they're done and it's always more than expected. With One Hour, I never pay full price, they take care of my furnace and air conditioner and their technicians are always professional. I recommend One Hour to everyone.

I have been using them for about 2 years now. When I had my old system they help me keep it going until I could replace it. Once I replaced it they did not try and up sell me on my system. I am also a member of there comfort bi-annual service on my system. They always go above and beyond. This time I am having an electical problem wen they put the new system in it is larger than the old and is covering an eletrical junction they stood by their work to move the help me resolved the problem without trying to charge me for it. They are friendly, efficient, show up when they say they will. I would highly recommend them to anyone

I couldn't rate this company at all. I placed the service call and they (One Hour) said it would be between 7-9 pm for them to come out. I waited and they never came at all, but did call my tenant and told her it would be 11 or so before they could come. He asked what the problem was, she told him and he said he was not interested in coming out for that problem. Air was not circulating in two bedrooms and if that is not a problem I don't know what is. NEVER USE THEM!!! BAD!!!

Very bad experience.I would have given them 0 stars if it was an option. I was charged double the price and still didn't get what I was promised. Talked to the owner Steve and he said he would get it fixed or get me a refund. Never got a return phone call. DO NOT do buisness with this company. find someone else.

Your technician Dustin was just at our home for regular maintenance. What a great employee you have working for you! Dustin took the time to explain what needed to be done for preventative maintenance on our unit and I appreciate knowing what needs to be done so I can plan for it financially. He also took the time to clean out one of our vents which was so kind. We really appreciate having exceptional workers like Dustin come to our home.

I can't begin to say enough good things about this company. It started with their salesman actually listening to our needs and requirements, presented what we asked for and offered options without pressure.

The work crew showed up EXACTLY on time and there was a feeling of instant trust in these gentlemen. Work was completed on time and did not leave a mess anywhere! During the installation process the GM even showed up to check on the crew and answer my questions.

the person who complained about his emergency drain pan overflowing and the owner gripping him out left out some important details. the pan did not over flow because the float did not work. it overflowed because the pan itself buckled. that pan was not installed by this company. it was installed by the builder several years ago. this customer expected that because some maintenance was done on his system that the company was responsible for someone else's work. this is not a reasonable expectation. conversely if his compressor failed two weeks after a maintenance was done would he also expect that failure to be the responsibility of the maintenance company .I think not.

The tech sold me on the pan treatment and installing a float switch to guard against the pan overflowing. Well, guess what, last week our pan overflowed; the straps were not in the right place and the pan buckled. The Senior Tech that came out this time said that the other techs should have caught the problem, but the CEO says that it is our problem. He thinks we are trying to get something for nothing. Now we are stuck with water damage to the ceiling in our kids?? room, water that has ran down the middle of a wall and soaked the carpet in two rooms, and a $2000 insurance deductible. I got home Friday evening, mid June to an 87 degree house. I called the number at 8:00p.m. and spoke to Randy who was pleasant and stated he could have someone at my home between 8 and 11 the next morning and that he would call me back within the hour to give me a more exact time. I did not get a call back.At 7:45 a.m. Saturday I called and left a voicemail on the system that stated a manager would call back within 15 minutes. I began to get worried and started researching other companies. At 8:30 I called back and after a wait on hold spoke to someone who knew my last name after I stated my first and was very apologetic and stated they had some problems but someone had already been dispatched to my home. Casey arrived at my home by 8:45 and was apologetic for the confusion, courteous and professional. The work was done quickly, and at a price I felt was fair. They charge a set, pre-determined and explained price for the visit and the cost of work done was given to me in writing before starting and was per a written company wide schedule the technician had. He explained the warranty before he left and offered me information on a service contract but did not pressure me into buying it.

Last summer my a.c went out at my house. I called one hour air conditioning and not only was the man on the phone very friendly but it so happend that one his workers done for the day was able to stop by on his way home to inspect my a.c unit. Needless to say that after he left my home i called the very next day and put in an order to upgrade my new system. Very great service.

I got home from work late, at 9:00 PM, temperature in house between 90 and 100, called One Hour. They moved us to the top of the wait list because we were on their twice a year system check plan ($17/month). Repairman arrived within an hour, was very nice, very professional, really knew his stuff, diagnosed problem in the dark with a flashlight in about ten minutes (fried capactitor) which he determined was still 5 days within One Hour's one year warranty from earlier service by One Hour last August, and so replaced at minimal cost. AC system was fixed by 11 PM. Total cost $160, fixed in two hours from call to cool air, saved us at least one night's hotel stay and a huge hassle. In my book, this was nothing short of a miracle, both as to speed and cost of repair. Being on the maintenance plan saved us several hundred dollars and having to unexpectedly go to a hotel late at night. They've performed some other repairs at other times, have always done a good job for us, on time, avoided tracking in dirt, cleaned up well after themselves. No complaints, quality work, reasonable charges.

Having your AC go out in September in Dallas is an emergency for sure! I cant even relay the importance of coming fast! Every second counts when your home is 85 degrees and climbing with the heat of the day.

Our tech Casey was here quick. One thing I really liked is they laid a mat down under the attic access. I have had so many techs come and leave me a mess of insulation to cleanup from them going up there!

Unfortunately they werent able to fix it because the part is one that will have to be ordered. But he was able to bypass the circuit board and just have the fan go on constant till we can get it fixed. This way we are atleast cool while we get their estimate and it also lets us shop around for the cost to fix it if necessary.

Our tech was very nice and professional. We have been using their service for a few years now and have been happy with the results. I just wish we didnt need them so often! The entire system was replaced only 3 years ago and it seems we are replacing the rest of it piece by piece every few months!

One Hour came out today for our regular checkup. Gaylon was so thorough with the checkup. He is so polite and respectful.He knows his stuff. Took about an hour and a half and then came to me with a huge checklist and explained to me everything he had checked out. Im very pleased with the service they provide. Thank you One Hour!!!

I have had bad expierence with other companies and I have to say i was expecting the worse, but wow. On time, courteous, no price gouging, I was told one price and that is what it was, very helpful in explaining what was going wrong, the problem was fixed in a very reasonable amout of time and I was even called back to make sure everything was still working properly and to see if there was anything else they could do for me. All I have to say is VERY impressed.

I will not do business with this company again. I was told on the phone that their $99 spring tune-up service included cleaning the evaporator coil. It does not. I was also told that the service would only cost $99, as it turns out I have 2 units so the price was doubled when the tech showed up and I was charged $198 for the service. I was also told that cleaning the evaporator coils would require removal of the coil from the unit in the attic at an estimated cost of $700 plus. This did not include the $150 plus it would cost to re-charge the system after removing and re-installing the coil. I was also told that the coil was clogged and full of mold and I really needed to get it cleaned for the safety of my family ( allergies, dust-mites, mold spores, the usual scare tactics). So, I was charged double what I expected after setting the appointment and the service that I originally wanted was never performed. I called Steve, a owner, and he said he would contact his technician and give me a call back. No call back. After a week I call him back and he said that I would get a refund of $99. This sounded fair to me. I could accept a $99 charge for a lesson learned. I had another company come out and look at the units. They pulled apart the plenum that holds the evaporator coil. NO mold, NO clogs, just a little bit of dust. They vacuumed out both of the the the units, re-assembled the box, replaced a faulty check valve on both units, added freon, and various other checks and cleaning. All for $175 per unit.

After I called Steve and did not get a return phone call I posted a bad review about his company. Here is the original review.
