In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

Best I've found!

I like the atmosphere at this particular steakhouse. They tune into different games on the televisions, so that you can watch your favorite team, or players. The food is always fresh and good. The prices are okay, not too expensive. The staff is attentive and friendly.

Quality has gone way down.

by miinx

Me and my boyfriend used to be regulars at this Outback, and it was pretty good. As of late however, things have taken a HUGE downturn in quality. Our last visit [takeout] was downright unedible. Our food tasted old and was lukewarm.

The shrimp in my pasta tasted very low quality, like canned or frozen shrimp..the pasta sauce was extremely milky and tasted like prepackaged, reheated sauce, with no cheese flavor at all like i'm used to. the pasta was horribly overcooked and gooey. i couldnt finish it and threw it away.. it was just disgusting.

My boyfriends steak had a huge chunk of fat on the side that hadnt been trimmed off.. there was very little meat for an 8 oz steak. They forgot one of his sides entirely. His order tasted old as well. I tried to call and talk to the manager about my experience, and instead was put on a neverending chain of holds through the takeaway staff. Not sure whats up with this Outback location, but I doubt we'll be back unless they get their act together.

Pros: It used to be good.. other locations are good.

Cons: Old, cheap tasting, overcooked food.. missing items from takeout order, impossible to speak to management.
