Ratings_icons Great Food!

My boyfriend & I went for lunch today and were a little skeptical after reading a couple reviews but we wanted to try something new and we thought this place was GREAT!! We tried their special which was buy one entre get the 2nd half off and an appetizer and everything was reasonably priced. The waiter was very kind and helpful in any questions we had about the food since we're not too familiar with mediterranean cuisine. Service was quick. and the atmosphere was really laid-back. plus, they are a top performer on "food 4 thought" so it's safe to say everything is CLEAN! I would recommend this place to anyone!!

Food,Atmosphere, Service, Owners, and by God you could actually find a clean place in this valley, it is the cleanest and most inviting in town, as a matter of fact in the entire valley.

This is a really nice family restaurant only if you consider the Manson family to be really nice.
If you want to be ripped off and then berated when you complain about not getting what you ordered, then this is the place for you. This is by far the worst dining experience that I have ever had. For starters I ordered a glass of water and I got hill country fair bottled water, not what I ordered but I let it slide. I then specifically ordered an item off the menu by POINTING at it, and got something else. When I brought it to the waitress's attention, she stated that that's what they had and then turned around and went about her business. She didn't offer to fix it, she didn't apologize, instead she took off to the kitchen to tell her daddy (apparently the owner). I was complaining to another employee (possibly the mother), when the cook/dad/nutjob ran out of the kitchen to tell ME that "I should have more common sense." Apparently having common sense is shutting up when you are not being provided a service that you are paying for. After I told him that I was not going to pay since I had not finished my food and I don't enjoy being insulted he threatened with "dismantling" my face if I didn't pay.
That being said I must say that the place is authenticly middle eastern...only in the sense that it conveys all the hostility that plagues that region.
I would rather eat a rotting possum carcass than eat here again.

Ratings_icons The ULTIMATE and best Experience in the valley and ONLY!!!!!!!

A O.

Regardless of how cheap some people are in the valley, they shouldnt be able to judge on a subject such as Food when all they eat daily is mcdonalds and mexican food, the Jerusalem Cafe serves some of the BEST food ive ever had! Its REAL homemade food, not packaged fast food that some of those people* that made such ridiculous comments because obviously theyve never been out of texas to experience the true meaning of "Good Food". When i went the service and food was Excellent! better than anything ive had anywhere in the valley. Its a lovely family and business environment where you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy! When you walk in you think you've walked in to a cafe in an actual Middle Eastern town. If you've never been there you should most deffinately go!! To those people who dont enjoy adventourous experiences...yall have a problem! I enjoy being around others that like good things, not people with crappy looks on their faces sitting next to me at a table complaining about prices on food when they themselves pay $6 dollars for a dry burger! And about the owners, their the most courteous people I have EVER met!!!! Literally!

Ratings_icons Jerusalem Cafe - Horrible service

anyssa a.

Horrible service. Was charged higher than the menu price, when I inquired about this I was told to pay it, and come back in the afternoon when the owner had more time to talk to me about it. I refused and when I threatened to walk out without paying, and come back in the afternoon to talk about it, the waitress asked if I would pay the menu price and she would put in the difference. Weird atmosphere when the waitress fears the owner! Food may be OK, but definately not worth the dealing with the crooked owners.
