Cakes Amore

I was referred to this bakery because my first choice was unable to help me due to time constraints. I was very excited about the cake, as it was huge party for my 10 year old son. I started to cut into the cake and realized that they forgot to include the fresh strawberry filling. It was just plain cake. When I contacted the cakery they offered an apology and a 15% discount. As a first time customer and with such a mess up, I will never purchase from them again. They should have refunded the whole $150.00 as they completely messed up the cake with the mistake.

I ordered my baby shower cake from here, I think they are a bit overpriced and my cake was not super fancy, no exotic flavors or anything. The cake looked nice the taste was normal nothing exceptional so in the end I am very neutral with this place.

So very disappointing. I signed up for a specialty flower class and it has been cancelled for 3 weeks in a row for one reason after another, all of it centering around the 'executive pastry chef' that is supposed to be teaching us and is the lead decorator there. I am getting my money back and maybe I will just go to Cake Carousel. I have never had a class cancelled from them. It's a little more money, but at least they are dependable.

It has been 3 years since I purchased a cake for my daughter's informal wedding reception. The cake looked fine, but it was the worst cake I have ever eaten. In fact no one ate it. I took it home afterwards and even later couldn't get anyone to eat it. I eventually threw it out. The woman who helped us when I ordered it was very nice, but the man who was there when I picked it up was rude.I had been told to bring fresh flowers and they would put them on the cake when I picked it up, but he refused, so I did that part myself.My friends have raved about this place, but I will never go back.

I had a horrible experience with Cakes Amore. I asked for a simple design, but it turned out with three different shades of what was supposed to be the same color. It looked absolutely horrible. It also tasted awful... like chemicals and pesticides. I expressed my unhappiness at the store, and they didn't seem to care. They would not do anything to fix the order, and they just offered 10% off the next order. There will NOT be a next order. I could have done a better job with a betty crocker recipe and store bought icing.

I love this business - they are fast and very friendly. I was in charge of getting the wedding cake for my cousin's wedding reception. The associate was very plesant and made several suggestions on the cake decoration according to the theme we had going at the wedding reception. We ended up getting a 5-layer vanilla cake with so much design - I received many compliments on the beautiful artwork - I almost didn't want anyone to eat it bc it was such a work of art!

My best friend had her wedding cake customed made here and it was delicious! It is such a cute store that smells positively divine! They sell cake decorating and candy supplies, as well as already made cakes. Their cheesecakes are simply divine as well, and you have to try their toffee chips. They also offer cooking classes, which I would like to try if I ever find the time. Great, easy to find location, too.
