OH my. I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased my furniture. When we made our purchase they told us it would come in a box and had to be put together. My husband was not happy about the IKEA kinda mentality. Where has customer service gone? We were told all the furniture stores were doing this. Not True. We have walked out of other stores in the past because of this type of service, but just purchased a new home and have purchased quite a few pieces of furniture. Some very large and we have had free delivery and set up on all. Apparently other stores have picked up on customer dissatisfaction and in this economy are offering free delivery and set up.

The manager of the RR store was very rude when we question the practice. We bought the table anyway because it fit what we were doing, but now I regret it.

I purchased a nice TV stand from Gage Furniture in Round Rock. The piece was about four times as much as I would normally spend, but it was beautiful. Once I got it home and started building it, I realized that there were pieces missing. I still had the receipt and was willing to bring it in. They would do nothing for me. No refund, no exchange, not every with the receipt and for the exact same piece. Nothing! They were extremely rude and spoke to me as though I were a complete idiot. I will not be purchasing anything from them ever again, and I will tell everyone I know to avoid them at all costs.

I do not recommend using Gage Furniture for any purchases. Once they have your money, that's it, customer service goes out the door. I made a $700 furniture purchase 3 months ago and I am still waiting for delivery. They keep telling me it takes a while for delivery and now they are saying that they have lost the shipment or they can't track the shipment. Every time I call I get a different story. I stress every time I call, they have yet to contact me or follow up with anything. When I mentioned a refund they became very nasty. BEWARE!

We went looking for a bedroom set and thought we'd try here in Round Rock before going to Austin. We stopped by Gage Furniture and found just what we were looking for! The price was alittle more that we had decided we wanted to spend before we left home, but we saved alot of gas by staying close to home! Great quality furniture!
