I get hair extensions, cuts, and color at Artists Hair Studio. They are always professional and friendly. Not just my stylist, the whole staff. Hair extensions take some time to do and I am always well taken care of the entire time. I recommend this place to everyone. They are simply the BEST!

I was referred to this salon when I first came to Austin and have stayed with Artist's Hair Studio since. Priced lower than most and cuts, perms and color is awesome!

I've been a client at Artists Hair Studio for several years now -- longer than I've stayed with any salon, ever. The simple reason is that I get the best haircuts I have ever had, from some of the nicest people I have ever met. The staff is professional, yet friendly and welcoming. The service is absolutely the best, and I ADORE my stylist. Whenever I want to make a change with my hair, she always takes the time to find out exactly what I want and discuss whatever modifications need to be made for my hair type. I have short hair (this week, anyway!) so I get it cut fairly often, and I absolutely look forward to each and every appointment. I always leave feeling like a rock star -- it's better than therapy!

Im fortunate enough to be able to afford to go to any salon in Austin and I have been to some of the so called finest. Although the haircuts were good, and should be for the money they charge, these places never felt like Austin to me.

At Artists Hair Studio I get a great cut with a REAL, fun loving, down to earth attitude. If youre looking for a snooty, wine and cheese kind of place you might want to look downtown, west 5th and 6th street or maybe move to Dallas. All the stylists at Artists go out of their way to make sure you feel at home in their salon.

I was referred to Virginia at Artists by a friend/co-worker. I am new to Austin. The entire experience was a delight. Virginia was pleasant on the phone and even more in person. She was on time to my appointment and really took the time to listen to me. She offered some very good input as well. I am very happy with both my cut and color. In fact I scheduled my next appointment before I left. I can say this was the best hairstylist I have ever had. She was professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. The salon was clean and the atmosphere very friendly from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I highly recommend Artists and Virginia.
