Eagle Transmissions

The manager said the needed cable was no longer available. I found one at the Cadillac dealer so he told me to buy it and bring it to him. I did that three days ago. He has promised completion dates. The latest was at ten this morning. I called to see what time they closed. Twelve noon and he had no intention of working on my Cadillac.

When I reminded him of his promise, he told me to come pick up my car. A shameful lack of integrity in a manger. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Lewis is very professional and courteous. Answered all questions asked. Treated me fairly.

I went here to have my car looked after getting my oil changed at a small neighborhood shop. The other shop told me I might need work done, perhaps replacing the distributor, but seemed unsure. I decided to have someone else take a look at it and do the work if it needed it. I'm really glad I did because my car didn't need repairs after all. They are super nice and honest here, and I will be telling my friends about them as well. I will be coming back in the future.

I was out of town on a business trip and these guys really did me right. Most auto repair shops you visit, you just know you are going to get ripped off. Particularly if you are out of town. Not these guys. They told me what was wrong and when I gave them the go ahead they fixed it right. Right away, and at a great price. I cannot thank them enough. For quality auto repair, you really can count on them.

Gerard was very informative and diagnosed my issue quickly. He called to give me status updates about my repairs which made me feel at ease leaving my car with them for the week it took to completely rebuild my transmission. Now my car is running like new and I couldn't be happier.

I took my car in to get a completely rebuilt transmission. They had my car for about a week and a half. The mechanics were nice enough to call me and keep me updated on my repair, explaining what had been done and what was left to do. I'd recommend them to anyone.

READ THIS REVIEW FIRST. I saw that this place had a lot of positive reviews and it was close so I took my car there. HUGE mistake. First of all, if you click through the names of the people reviewing this place, you'll notice that the only reviews they've ever given were for the Eagle Transmission place. Secondly, they gave reviews for multiple locations of this same company. Why would you take your car to the same company but different locations? Third, they are all perfect ratings. Fourth, find another shop that has more than 5 reviews. Seriously, 20+ reviews in 4 months. Who are they kidding? Lastly, they are all in the last 4 months. This means that these reviews are from fake people or the same person creating multiple accounts to give positive reviews. Just pathetic. They kept my car for 5 days. I had to call 3 different times to find out the situation. The guy ""Louis"" on 3 different occasions told me he was going to call me to give me the diagnosis and never did. ""I'll call you by the end of the day."" Never did. ""I'll call you by noon."" Never did. ""I'll have the write up ready in the morning."" Never did. Finally I show up on the 5th day (5 business days mind you) and he goes on and on about how one of his guys wasn't sure he could work on it and he had to get this other guy and then he started to get real technical and I realized he was just talking BS and stalling. I'm wondering if they ever even bothered to put the car on the lift. It's not like I have a really rare car either. My transmission is very common with no modifications. After about 20 min. of just nonsense and excuses I said I'd just take the car and he didn't even bother to put up a fight. This tells me how little he cared. Also, not to boast, but I have a nice ride and I was concerned that it wasn't a gated lot. He said, ""I always keep cars like that inside over night"". What a joke. It was obvious when I got to my car that it had been sitting outside for days because of all the dust and dirt and bird droppings on it. They didn't even bother to throw a towel over the body when they looked at it to keep it clean. The hood and side of the car were covered in grease finger prints. Absolutely unprofessional place. Why is it so hard to find an honest mechanic? If you have a ford focus from the mid 90's I'd take a chance here. Otherwise, I'd avoid this place like the plague. This is an honest review, this is not an honest shop.

Eagle Transmission in Richardson did a great job replacing the torque converter, which had disintegrated, as well as other parts in the transmission. I had initially gone to the Honda dealership but they quoted me a crazy high price, so I went online to research transmission shops and found Eagle.

I called these guys after being jerked around by another business I won't bother to mention. Eagle gave me a much lower estimate for the work on the phone, took care of the problem that day, and then, when I got there, charged me $10 less than what he quoted.

Lewis was the absolute BEST!!!

They explained to me very well what was wrong with the transmission and what we needed to do to fix it. Thank you.

I want to thank Tito who responded to my call when I had transmission problems. I had driven in from Atlanta, GA and needed to be back on the road within 2 days. Tito was awesome and everyone else that I spoke to was the same way. I really appreciate the turn around time and the truck ran great all the way home. Thank you Eagle

Great service- Just believe there is always room for improvement- these guys are awesome.

What I like about Eagle is that they take the time to talk to you and explain everything that is going on. This was very important to me, especially being a woman, because I had heard horror stories about being ripped off. I trusted the guys at Eagle and felt that they were honest with me.

Rather than speaking in vague, general terms, they were specific and went into detail. When I went to pick up my car, they explained everything again and went over the warranty information. All in all, it was a great experience. I was honestly surprised. I was not expecting such high quality of service. Eagle Transmission takes care of their customers. They want to make sure you are fully aware of what you are getting into.

I was on vacation and they we were able to handle everything over the phone. They actually went and got the car from the dealer and made the repair. And, so far, the transmission rework has held.

They do really great service work here. I never wait too long, and they are really efficient.
