Cokers Barbecue is Great !

by Paul B.

I have been eating at Cokers since 1998 and have worked just down the street from them. I get the three meat combo (brisket, ribs, and sausage), with macaroni/cheese and their pinto beans. I have never finished the meal in the restaurant and always have to make a to go box. Butch's ribs are excellent and the sauce is great. I have never had a bad meal there and consider myself lucky to work so close to such a fine BBQ place.

Coker's Barbeque

by Lisa J. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 9,041

Some of the best barbeque that I've ever eaten. The decor is decked out with vintage coka cola memorabilia and the waitstaff will take care of you with a smile.

And I don't normally like Bar-B-Que...

by Erin T. | insider Insider | Rank: 25,549

Every time we visit Arlington we stop at Cokers. Most of the staff has been at the restaurant for as many years as I can remember, and to me that says a lot about the business. Not to mention the awesome food. I always get the chop beef, it is excellent, and that is a big comment coming from me. I don't normally like Bar-B-Que, and it took many tries at a lot of places to find Cokers. And it is the best in the area! My husband gets their beef and sausage combo. Pretty much anything you get on the menu is good - so you can't really lose with this choice.

Fall off the bone - REALLY!

by Lauren N. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,605

This is about the only place I've found where the ribs really DO fall off the bone! I get them without sauce, and they're fabulous, just like that.

A plate dinner is served with your choice of meat (or two if you'd like) and two sides, including corn, green beans, potato salad and cole slaw.

They have a place for fixin's and the service is always friendly.

Call ahead for a to-go order and it'll be ready for you when you arrive.

Expect to pay about $10 for a meal, and leave with BBQ sauce on your face and a full belly!

PROS: Ribs are amazing!
CONS: none

Good prices. Good Food and great atmosphere

by Mary G. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,527

This is one of my favorite places for bbq. The prices are just right (dinners about 8 bucks and kids plates 5). The meats are tender and juicy. BBQ sauce is sweet and tangy, and there are fun things to look at while you eat. I love the potato salad... Yummy, Be sure to check out the "king of the hill" figurine set by the register, its a hoot.
