Amazing! Lexis Florist is the best in Houston! I had a request and they made it happen. I ordered 5 centerpieces for a holiday party. I was so surprised to see how beautiful they turned out!

My mother and I wanted to get an arrangement for a friend who just had breast cancer surgery. We do not have a lot of money, but wanted to get something special for this friend. When we called Lexis, we could barely understand the woman, who then proceeded to laugh scornfully when we told her our situation. This woman also wanted to charge $12.00 for delivery, even though my friend's apartment is *right* down the street from her. I am absolutely appalled at this woman's utter lack of character and her overwhelming rudeness and disrespect. You better believe I will be writing negative reviews for Lexis whenever/wherever I can!

I needed flowers for my wife on short notice so i called Lexis and the staff was very knowlegeble and delivery was quick and on time.Nice to see a company that cares about taking care of customers what a relief.Thanks Lexis florist and will call again when i need something else.

All I have ever seen done by this company is made with orchids and tropicals. It seems that is all they know, eith the exception of a few roses. They must be " in bed" with an orchid grower and tropical supplier. Fortunately I was recomended to use Aubrey Sellers Flowers and I found the most beautiful flowers from all over the world at his fingertips!!!

I've received the most incredible looking roses, thick, fresh and a hard-to-explain exotic color. They're cream but with outlines of deep warm earth tones infused through out. My collegue described them best, "those roses are just Sexie!" Yes, roses "sexie" in and of themself! Amazing flowers like no other and arranged beautifully. Lexis rocks - but you cant say Sexie on citysearch.

My husband makes me sooooooo mad. He knows how to really push my buttons. Lexis is why I still love him. He orders me the most beautiful flowers from lexis that really makes me hate him a little less. He has sent me flowers from all over houston. When I got flowers from lexis I told him I diddn't want flowers from any where else. Lexis is the best!

I ordered an arrangement for my girlfriend from lexis and it was amazing! I didn't know what to order and the very kind staff was so easy to work with. They made an arrangement that was nothing like I have ever seen. The arrangement was delivered within a few hours. The flowers lasted over a week! My girlfriend was so pleased! The designers made the perfect arrangement for the occasion. I WILL ALWAYS USE LEXIS IN THE FUTURE!

I wanted to get my girlfriend some really nice roses and looked for a place close to her work, so they could easily be delivered. I found Lexis and they had some really good reviews, with a couple negative ones, but I hoped everything would go well. Similar to other reviews, solely based on the quality of the arrangement, I'd give them at least a 4, maybe a 5 (my girlfriend loved the flowers). While deciding on what arrangement to get I was looking at their website and found the two dozen roses arrangement for $101.99, plus tax. So I decided I'd call them up and place the order. Everything went fine and right as the call was ending I figured I'd confirm the price... she then informed me they were $186! I asked why their website showed it for only $110 (including tax), after putting me on hold to verify, her story was that extra fee was for a florist to personally hand open each rose so that it was at its fullest and most beautiful, etc... I don't know much about flowers, but that seemed either unnecessary or a bit excessive to me. So i opted not to do that and let them open naturally, so I expected to be charged ~$110 but when I saw my credit card statement I was charged $135.51. After speaking with someone else I was told I was charged $110 plus tax and $15 for delivery. I explained that the $110 should have included tax and that there was no mention of an additional delivery fee of $15 (no problem with the delivery fee, but would have expected them to mention it when ordering). After discussing with the manager, she informed me their website was old and that I actually got a great deal b/c they usually charge $156 for 2 dozen roses. I told her they need to either update or pull down their website b/c they are false advertising their prices. Bottom line: I received 4 different prices for the same roses... it seems they charge whatever they feel like it. Make sure you fully understand everything they are charging you for.

If only based upon the quality of their work, I'd rate this place a 5. Unfortunately, customer service does and should matter. Every time I have ordered here, the flowers NEVER arrive when promised and I have even called DAYS in advance and also called the day before just to confirm the order and the time. I paid over $200 for roses and they should be beautiful and on time. All I ever get is, "We apologize but..." Not really good enough.

Update to MY OWN review--The review above was my review from October. I gave them YET ANOTHER chance because I love their work so much and got the SAME EXACT RESULTS. The flowers I sent were delivered to the wrong address and I have to date never been credited the money for the arrangement. Trust me on this one, if you really want your flowers delivered as promised, find another florist.

I placed an order to have flowers delivered for a loved one's birthday. The flowers were promised to be everything and more I had asked for.The flowers looked wilted and for the amount of money that I spent I expected a lot more. The prices were outrageous for the quality I received. I spoke to the owner and she was a total nutcase, I could barely understand her. I wont bother going back there ever again.

The first time I received flowers from Lexis Florist I was mesmerized by the beautifully arranged flowers. Flowers arranged so masterfully that would brighten up any room any time of the day. I highly recommend Lexis Florist for the quality and workmanship of the heavenly sent arrangements.

I have been ordering flowers from this family owned business for five years now. They use the best quality flowers. They have always accomodated me by giving me fresh ideas regarding what kind of arrangement would be best for the special occasions that we were celebrating. The arrangements still look beautiful even a week later. I can not say enough about the quality of their work. If you are looking to make your special one go wow! this is the flower shop for you.

Hello friends, My girlfriend threw me into the doghouse last week cause i bet my paycheck on the Texans. I know, I know , how could I have done something so dumb. We were saving up for a new sofa and TV for our living room. She wasnt speaking to me so I had to do something fast ! I called Lexis Florist and ordered an arrangement of flowers for her. I didn't spend a lot of money so I was worried what she was going to get, But WOW she loved her arrangement. It was unbeliveable, I didn't know what to order for her and the Florist associate made some suggestions that would fit this tuff sitituation and THEY NAILED IT. She go the flowers the same day I ordered them. It was so cool. They Put blue sand in the vase with some currly willow with huge hand opened white roses and light pink roses. SHE LOVES ME AGAIN and everything is great. Except for the Texans !

I ordered flowers for a birthday and was assured the arrangement would be delivered that day. 5 days later, I found out that the flowers had never been delivered. I called Lexis Florist, and the person who answered the phone confirmed that the order was not completed, and said "what do you want to do?". No apology, no recognition that they had done anything wrong. When I asked what happened to the order, they did not know. I asked them to please redeliver at no charge, and they agreed.

Bad customer service.

***Follow Up*** I got my credit card statement, and they indeed did charge me for the flowers after they said they wouldn't. I called and asked for the manager. A woman with an accent spoke to me, and after I explained the entire situation, told me that "somebody goofed". NEVER ONCE DID SHE APOLOGIZE. In fact, she seemed very annoyed with my call.

Unbelievable.

I ordered a cut flower arrangement of specific flowers for a birthday delivery. The arrangement that arrived was completely wrong and contained none of the flowers I requested and instead contained very tropical and exotic flowers which I had not requested. When I called the next day and spoke to the manager I was told that they did not have the flowers I had requested but would have them the next day and send out a new arrangement. The new arrangement arrived 2 days later after the recipient received a message saying they would pick up the old arrangement and deliver a new one. It's beyond me what they wanted to do with 3 day old flowers. Maybe they wanted their $5 container back. The new arrangement was delivered and was completely wrong again. If they had just picked up the phone and called (long distance) to let me know the flowers i requested, which were not unusual, were not available this entire situation could have been avoided. I left a message about how disgusted I was and waited for a return phone call. After several hours had passed the next day I called myself. I spoke to the owner SueHabib. I told her I had cancelled my AmEx payment after I did not receive a return phone call. She was very condescending and seemed more interested in letting me know about all of the awards and big accounts that they had. She had no interest in my $100 order. When she asked what they could do and I told her to send the correct flowers she said they could not do that since I had cancelled the payment. I own a small business also. If all it took to make a customer happy was to correct the problem at such a small cost to the company I would have done it in a minute. I'm very surprised at the reviews this company has received. My experience was quite the opposite.

It was my best friends birthday and as usual I had no idea what to get her. After many years you run out of ideas. I happened to pass by a Lexis Florist van on my way to work one morning and even though I was hesitant to call I did. First of all, the sales people they have working there are very courteous and professional. My sales rep was Diany and she gave me the option of an "Exotic Mix" and even though I wasnt sure I went for it because it sounded intriguing. Let me tell you, it was the best decision ever. I got the biggest hug and the biggest piece of cake that night at the party. She and everyone at the party loved the arrangement. It had the biggest roses I had ever seen, which we were later told were hand opened. They also put some twisted cala lillies which was something I had never seen before. It was just so gorgeous that I wish I had apicture to show all of you! I highly recommend Lexis Florist, you wont regret it!

My wedding day was one of the most important days of my life. I wanted the church to to be filled with fresh flowers. Lexis Florist made this day special for me. The flowers were beautiful!!!!! My guests felt like they were in a beautiful garden with magnificant flowers. I could not have been happier with the flowers and the quality of service rendered by Lexis Florist. I highly recommend them!!!!

I just for everyone to know, The spary of flowers which Lexis Florist made for my mother's casket was the most beautiful I have seen at any funeral. In fact, dozens of people commented on how beautiful it was. It was with pride that I told them Lexis Florist had made it. The arrangement for church was aslo breath taking. I can not be more grateful to Lexis Florist for what they did.

I looked on-line to locate a reputable florist in Houston to deliver a nice arrangement for a client. I placed the order and with a 4 hour span was assured my delivery would get to the hospital on the same day. The next afternoon, the florists called and wanted my client's home address, indicating the flowers were NEVER delivered. I told them my concern and spoke to 4 different people - not one was helpful nor could indicate why the delivery was never made. They then wired the flowers to my client's home and charged me an extra 15 dollars. I will never use them again and would not recommend at all -also, who knows what the arrangement ended up looking like.

They were EXTREMELY late delivering the flowers to a wedding I was a guest at, and on top of that still charge the bride a delivery charge! The flowers looked like they were dying, and the bride and even the guests noticed! Lexis Florist is a brides nightmare.... Expensive and the people were rude. I do not recommened them!

You have to try this florist if you want great service and AMAZING designs....The tropical arragement I ordered was GORGEOUS!! Everyone at the office was taking pictures and commenting on the flowers!!!!! They have the most unique way of desinging with the roses and the callas twisted around.....!!!!!! I will deffintaley use LEXIS for my next occasion!!!! They sure know how to brighten someone's day with their exquisite desgins.

I had forgotten to send my mom flowers for her birthday and it was the very next day! I called Lexis based on their great reputation and asked for delivery to my mom's Galleria office asap. She called me on her birthday morning to say she received the most striking bird of paradise arrangement she'd ever seen! If you want to impress someone with rare and beautiful flowers - Lexis is top notch. Thanks for saving me!

decided to order flowers for my anniversary from this place for delivery and it was the worst mistake i ever made. i called the day before and made sure they got my order online. they did. the next day i never heard anything from my gf of them receiving them. they were supposed to delivery them to their place of business but never did. when i called to ask about them i was told they were sent and left on my porch. i said i didnt send them to a house. they hung up on me and when i called back someone else said oh they havent been delivered yet. it was already the end of the day basically so i just ended up cancelling them. i was so angry i couldnt even think straight...i got my money back but they didnt even offer to fix it and well they had already ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion. will never use this company again and no one else should either.

I must say they have the most beasutiful roses in town that they hand open............
My wife was amazed when she received her dozen roses that I have sent her for Valentine's day....
They really know how to brighten someone s day....
