I've had my vehicle at jones auto several times, my wife thought they were an expensive shop so she took her car on two occasions to a franchise garage on a fairly extensive repair, on both occasions there wasn't twenty dollars difference between estimates. Yes Jones auto may charge for parts that other shops don't but if you investigate as we did you'll find it's going to be a safety issue being the reason for replacing certain parts. I drive in Houston traffic everyday and I'm gad to have a mechanic shop that cares about mine and my wife's safety when we are in our cars.

That's how I feel after having had my truck brought back there twice for the same repair. In total my car has spent over a month in repair at Jones Auto even with the warranty we purchased on the original repair. Basically these guys are scammers and before it's over you will either want to contact the POLICE or a LAWYER!!!
If you purchase a warranty you have simply ordered them to create more problems with your vehicle. Problems that never existed until under their care. I will probably end up in small claims court with this establishment in fact. That is as polite as I can be in expressing my experience. Never go there.

These guys have been caring for my 3 vehicles for more than 10 years. They get it right and on time, even with the less than usual types of vehicle. They stand behind their work too. Great at RV's . Fair prices, long term log of repairs are right in the computer, nice people. Wow!

I'm not saying they won't fix what they tell you they fixed, but I am saying they charge for every last thing they possibly can think of. They were going to charge me $72 for bolts, why couldn't they re-use the ones that were already there. Did they know they were going to break the bolts going in? They were going to charge for a new radiator assembly just because they may have had to take the old one off. They make big bucks off of marking up their price on parts so they charge for a new part on everything they touch. Shady way of doing business if you ask me. I would never recommend them to anyone.
Pros: not a good experience
Cons: they want every dollar possible from you
