Our Story: It can be summed up in one word "Passion." As the owner of this concept, I can honestly say I love my job. We are in our 5th year of operation, and not a day goes by that I don't help someone make the complex world of wine a little less intimidating. We host large scale tasting events like our Quarterly Wine Fairs to Private get togethers. Whether you are a group of 10 or 130, we can host your next wine event. Bodega Bar which started out as a private events room has turned into one of the hottest spots for Dallas' Oenophiles to Novices. "Class by the Glass" Observer wrote a recent article about our beloved Bodega Bar Wine Lounge. Stats: 1,500 different labels, over 24,000 bottles of wine in inventory, 30%+ of the selection is under 1,000 case production wines. We sample over 3,500 wines a year to bring you the best wines from all over the world.

If you are a wine drinker, this is the place to go. They have a variety of wines from all over the world that you can purchase. In the back you can find a nice little wine bar to kick back and relax.

...Chateau offers a great selection of wines at many different price points. The Bodega bar in the back is a relaxing yet trendy spot to chill out and enjoy wine, beer, cheese, or one of their newer sandwhich selections. You can either order off of the wine list in the bar, or you can select a bottle from the front and have it opened in the bar.

Wow, what a find!
by winegirl_dfw
I do not see a lot of advertisements on this spot, actually this is where I found out about it. The moment you walk in to the store, you think to yourself, oh no, another "retail wine bar" which we all know are pretty to look at but not very fun to enjoy wine in. Then you see this small green sign that says Bodega Bar. I walked in last night and was floored. Maybe 80 or so people relaxing to lounge music in this oasis cave with dark woods and lit with candles. The house wines were as good as most of the premium wines in Restaurants with even better selections that didn't make you cringe at the prices. I even saw a wine I had seen at Cru for $55 that they were selling for $25. I guess you can get the best of both worlds at my new favorite hangout. Talking to a member of the staff (Wendy) and the owner (Amir), it gets busy on the weekends but during the weeks it is a more relaxed atmosphere. I had a cheese board and a fantastic Super Tuscan that Amir helped pick out. I will be back and often, I can't believe I have been here this long and did not know about this place.
Pros: Ambiance, Friendly Staff, Huge Fine Wine Selection, Expert Staff
Cons: It was hard to find, you almost have to know exactly where you are going, maybe thats a positive

Unexpected experience
by joedrexel
My wife, brother, and son walked in on this place on Saturday afternoon to shop for a few bottles of wine. Little did we know that we would stumble upon a most unique and pleasureable experience. Very nice showroom, wines displayed by regions, and a knowledgeable staff. After purchasing our bottle of wine, we headed to the "back", The Bodega Bar! The atmosphere was incredible.....intimate seating, lovely lighting, just right music and our just purchased wine poured and enjoyed. Ameir and Wendy were the perfect hosts! A must do for wine lovers! We will definitely be back!

The selection is awesome! Tons of wines from $8-$80, they have it. Make your selection and take it directly to the Bodega Bar and enjoy. Late hours and good cigars, I love it!!!
Pros: hours, service, selection
