      <description>&lt;p&gt;In the Fall we purchased a new air/heating system and home weatherization audit and improvement. We interviewed three companies and from the beginning Christian Bros was very responsive to our needs - they did what they said they would do on time and with high quality. Adam and Vic took the time to educate and inform us, provided a complete proposal, their installers were were professional and everything was clean when they left and there was follow-up to answer questions and ensure we were satisfied. I recommend them to all!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>5 Stars:  Good company (by maysilles)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;I needed a new A/C and duct work.  I choose Christian Brothers after reading their reviews and meeting with Adam Turnipseed to get an estimate for the work.  Additionally, I took advantage of the city rebate program for weatherization, etc. so I could do everything at once.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The work was completed in a professional manner, and while 2 small issues required a second trip to correct , Adam, the office manager Marissa, and the foreman Vic, were all very responsive.  The work was completed to my satisfaction and the staff couldn't have been nicer.  I would certainly recommend Christian Brothers to anyone.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>5 Stars:  Quick and accurate AC diagnostic (by all cool names are taken)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;A/C compressor stopped working. 
&lt;br /&gt;Withing 2 hours, a technician, Robert, arrived.
&lt;br /&gt; He correctly assessed the problem within the first 5 minutes and then explained the issues in a way that was easy to understand. He also described how the parts of the A/C system interact in a clear and concise way.
&lt;br /&gt;All this happened within 15 minutes.
&lt;br /&gt;We have A/C again.

      <description>&lt;p&gt;We are extremley pleased with the professional and knowledgeable service we received from Christian Brothers regarding maintenance of our HVAC system.
&lt;br /&gt;The technician installed a float value that protects us from water that may be develop by our system while in operation and could have caused thousands of dollars in repairs.  Our previous HVAC never recommended a float valve.  We signed up for Christain Brothers maintenance program based on their outstanding service today!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>5 Stars:  Christian Brothers is the best! (by mkins)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;We just had an energy efficient A/C and heat pump installed. I got bids from other companies, but there was just something about Adam Turnipseed with Christian Brothers that made me feel like this was the company to go with. He was very open and friendly but professional with the information. I didn't feel pressured at all but rather felt I'd been given very thorough, knowledgeable information on three different options in order to make an informed decision. Plus, Adam said they would take care of rebates and give us all we needed to apply for our PEC rebate as well as for our energy tax credit. Once we decided, the service was scheduled quickly, the technicians showed up right on time (acutally early) and were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous as well. I appreciated both Adam and Vic stopping by to ensure everything was going well and that Vic scheduled a follow-up with us for a few weeks later to make sure all was still going well with our system. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We are very pleased with our new unit...not only is it very efficient, we can barely hear it running! I will recommend Christian Brothers to anyone looking for service or a new system.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>5 Stars:  Great AC service.  Outstanding staff. (by stjoseph80)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;After the first AC company I called didn't return my call for 24 hours, I searched online and found Christian Brothers Air Conditioning.  I am really glad I found them.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Because my AC unit was 17 years old, and had a recent repair, I knew it was on its last legs.  In this hot summer and busy season for AC companies, I was surprised when Christian Brothers could send a technician to my house in a couple of hours.  After the technician's diagnosis, it didn't take long for me to conclude it was time to replace the system.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Their manager Adam showed up an hour later.  He was very polite and friendly.  He showed me different options, and I didn't feel I was pressured to select any specific system.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Their installation technicians arrived on time a couple of days later, and they completed the job in the time they estimated.  They took care to keep my house clean during the installation.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Throughout the process, I had met Adam, Vic their service manager, and a number of their technicians.  All ot them were friendly, professional, willing to answer questions, and very pleasant to deal with.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Replace an AC unit is a big expense, and a major decision.  Christian Brothers made the experience as pleasant as possible.  I am confident they will stand behind their work, and I can reach them easily if I need their service.  I highly recommend Christian Brothers Air Conditioning.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I'm so glad to have found Christian Brothers A/C.  They were a lifesaver when my A/C had issues in this brutal Texas heat!  I've actually had them come 2 different time for separate issues.  Both times the technicians were very knowledgeable about what they were doing. They were happy to show me what they were working on so I might be able to fix it myself in the future.  One of them actually took my hose and cleaned out my outdoor unit so that it will run more effeciently and cost me less money in utility bills.  They are very professional and clean---they even cover their shoes in little booties to make sure they don't track anything into your house.  I'm impressed.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>5 Stars:  The level of service all businesses should strive to achieve (by wraithedge)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;First off let me state that I despise having people working on my house, for various reasons it makes me very uncomfortable. 
&lt;br /&gt;	I had the unfortunate experience of losing my A/C late on a Sunday night. After trying various avenues to remedy the situation I made the smart choice of calling Christian Brothers, I can say that after that life became instantly easier. 
&lt;br /&gt;Adam Turnipseed responded with in a few minutes of my phone call, we set up an appointment on Monday morning for a review of my system. I have found that most people are late for appointments, not Adam. Adam and his service manager showed up and reviewed my options, early on I knew that I would go with this company. Professionalism and quality are worth paying for, and at the excellent value point that Christian Brothers sell their product it?s an easy decision to commit to their solutions.                                                                       As a side benefit Adam was able to get my current system up and running before his installer arrived the following morning.
&lt;br /&gt;	As promised both technicians arrived early the following morning and promptly began their installation. It was a pleasure to have both of those gentlemen work in my home. They were both extremely skilled, immensely polite and continuously went the extra mile during the installation. 
&lt;br /&gt;	All in all I would feel proud to recommend Christian Brothers as a solution. I would recommend other organizations to model themselves after this extremely professional company.

      <description>&lt;p&gt;My airconditioning fan quit blowing at 4:38am Sunday morning.   I went to City Search and found fabulous reviews written for Christian Brothers.  I called.  
&lt;br /&gt;The answering service told me a technician would call me within 30 minutes.  He did.  Ron was great!  He tried to help me troubleshoot my problem over the phone from all aspects hoping it would be a simple fix.  He walked me through several possibilites; however, it turned out that I needed a repairman.  Within 2 hours Ron called and told me help was on the way.  
&lt;br /&gt;Miguel was prompt, friendly, allowed me to ask questions, replied courteously and was quick with the diagnosis and repair.  Miguel checked the rest of my ac system to make sure his repair was correct and did the job.  He made sure that my system was cooling the house correctly and effectively.  I am so glad I found this company.  &lt;/p&gt;</description>

We received bids from other companies, but Christian Brothers were honest and professional with their information.  We were comfortable with them from the first meeting.  They scheduled service quickly, showed up right on time and they worked with the city to get our audit done.  Adam  stayed on top of the project the whole way through to make sure everything was done properly and to our satisfaction.  Their technicians were also very professional and we enjoyed having them do the work.  They were dressed so nice, I wasn't sure they were doing the installation that day.  :o)

      <title>5 Stars:  Our Heroes! (by lizcavitt)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;***I had to come back and update my review.  We just had our energy audit done on our home as we have recently put it on the market.  The supervisor called the other two people from his company over to look at the air conditioner we just had installed from Christian Brothers.  He went on and on about how our a/c was installed exactly by the book and every new a/c unit should look like this one.  The team was very impressed and asked who did the install so they could pass Christian Brothers name along--who could ask for a better recommendation?****&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The folks at Christian Brothers Air Conditioning are simply the BEST!  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, our A/C went out in the early hours of a Sunday morning.  After reading all the reviews we could stand (in the heat!), we called Christian Brothers.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;They sent someone out on Sunday morning to look at our old unit.  The bad news was our old A/C was dead.  The good news was they could be here on Monday to put in a new unit.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Not only were they here on time and ready to go on the dot Monday morning,  but the Sales Professional we spoke with, Adam Turnispeed, came to our house this morning to be sure we had no other questions or concerns.  Everything was explained perfectly and they are even filing the paperwork for a rebate from the city for us!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Here it is, 3 pm on &amp;quot;Hot Monday,&amp;quot; and we already have cool air throughout the house--an hour ahead of schedule!  I must say, this is a singularly unique experience--to have someone come out on a Sunday, show back up as promised on Monday and be an hour early to  boot!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The team that was here has done an amazing job of taking care of our belongings, cleaning up after they were done, very nice, informative and all around WONDERFUL!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I truly don't know what we would have done in the 100+ degree heat with 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 hot people!  Thank you so much to everyone at Christian Brothers--and if you have any air conditioning trouble, take if from me, call this great folks, don't waste time with anyone else!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Adam Turnipseed, the sales representative, was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the product and provided a thorough explanation of the work that would be done, how long it would take and the cost breakdown.  Our technicians arrived at the promised date and time and took special care with our personal property to ensure nothing was damaged during the uninstall and reinstall of our new indoor and outdoor units.  They worked hard and tirelessly, despite the triple digit heat.  There were extremely professional and gave us all the necessary information on how to operate our new system.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We also had new ductwork, insulation and weatherization done for home energy efficiency and our house is like brand new.  Taking on a major home improvement project was simple and painless with the help of everyone at Christian Brothers.  From our first impression with Adam, to the professionalism of our technicians, down to the office managers that followed up with us for appointments, I would HIGHLY recommend using Christian Brothers to anyone wanting excellent quality for a reasonable price.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>5 Stars:  Great customer service. (by Toyotero)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Approx 1 month ago, my AC compressor shorted out one afternoon. After having a local repairman inspect it, it was determined that I needed a new compressor or new outside unit (both were estimated about the same price after labor)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;While shopping around for prices for a new unit and install labor I encountered CBAC.  They were the only company of the 5 that I spoke with who told me that they could not give an estimate without sending someone out to inspect my home.   Looking back on it, I'm surprised that the other companies gave me an estimate considering the work that was involved.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;CB's representative Adam came out to my residence that same day just a few hours after I called them on a Friday afternoon.  Adam spent a couple of hours reviewing our old system and recommending a couple of new systems.  Because of the age of my inside unit (22 yrs) and the phasing out of R22 equipment in January that Adam alerted us to, we were able to make the right decision and replace both out inside and outside units with a new style unit which ended up being a smaller unit than the one that we had.  The old unit was oversized by 1/2 ton, which likely caused humidity issues in the home that we had noticed since the day we moved in.  Honestly, I have never had such a good experience with a representative in regards to the depth of knowledge in his product and his effort to educate me so that I could make the correct decision for this big purchase.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Adam was also helpful to us in getting the manuacturer's rebate, the power company rebate and the Federal rebate that we will apply for in next years taxes.  He was even available by email after normal office hours to answer some questions that I had about two units I was choosing between.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;CB was able to schedule us for the install the following Monday.  CB's installers arrived right at 8am as promised and they were equally professional and fast. They made efforts to protect my floors and not damage the walls.  The &amp;quot;fit and finish&amp;quot; of the install was more than satisfactory when it was all done. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I highly recommend this company.  I only wish they did auto repair too :-)&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;They didn't push me for the contract (some of the other contractors called a few too many times during the bid process). The equipment was installed in my time frame.  The contract was honored even though they had to eat some extra cost.  There was a bit of a delay with the subcontracted weatherization but it was quickly taken care of once I brought it to their attention.  The equipment appears to running smoothly and efficiently.  (Thank you Barrack for helping me upgrade to a higher efficiency!)  Overall, I am happy with the service and equipment provided by Christian Brothers.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>5 Stars:  Excellent, excellent experience (by Mills)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Adam Turnipseed and Robert at Christian Brothers Air Conditioning 476-6800 took amazingly good care of us. We'll use them every time. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The air conditioner went out this morning, they came within an hour of my calling them. Robert, the first guy from Christian Bro that came out, was friendly, respectful, and explained what he was doing as he worked. He worked on the outside unit for an hour, piece by piece, to see if he could diagnose the problem, which hopefully could be repaired without having to replace the entire unit. But, he finally concluded that my air conditioning unit was locking up, disengaging our outdoor breaker. He personally called around to see if he could get our warranty to pay for the compressor, but it had been 5 years and a week or so into our 5 year warranty, so it wouldn't cover it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;At this point, I agreed that we would buy a new unit, and he said they would be there tomorrow to install it. &amp;quot;No, please, it is too hot,&amp;quot; I pleaded nicely. Within 30 minutes, he came back and said they had worked out a way that two of his colleagues would come to install it today, if I could pay up front. &amp;quot;Yes&amp;quot;. One of the two guys coming was Adam Turnipseed, Robert's boss, to discuss my options. I'm thinking...&amp;quot;good thing Robert put it in writing that it would be $3,300 for a new unit, because surely 'the boss' is their guy who comes out when they know they have you and gets you buy another $1000 worth of something that you just can't responsibly live without.&amp;quot; Instead, Adam, the boss, asked if he could take a look at the unit himself. An hour later, he graciously told me that he had run a test that the first guy hadn't run and it turned out that my air conditioning unit was fine, it was the outside breaker that is faulty. (I suspect that Robert called his boss to come take a look - just to make sure). Adam apologized that it took two of them to find the solution (but didn't charge us for the second) - we are all human - and said that it is always better to have two sets of eyes look over a problem. So instead of buying a new air conditioning unit for $3,300, it cost right at $200 for the service and labor, plus he was sending another guy  to clean the unit for us, included in the price! Praise the Lord! The air is now getting cold, I tore up the large check that I had already made out, and Adam even gave me a tip about my ice maker (which has also been on the blink). &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The actual problem turned out to be with a faulty 
&lt;br /&gt;fuse box. Adam simply moved the line to another breaker, just as a check. He definitely went the extra mile. We will have to get the one breaker replaced, which should be a minor electrical service fee, which his company will receive no benefit from. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Adam, Robert, and Christian Brothers Air went above and beyond for us, and we are very grateful! We will only call them when we have any heating or air conditioning issues in the future.

      <title>5 Stars:  Coolest company in town (by PDXtoATX)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Last week I started noticing that my Air conditioner wasn't running at it's full potential.  I tend to be a do-it -yourselfer,  but I had no idea what I was doing with an AC unit.  I called Christian Brothers because I had heard good things about them.  I was connected to Marissa, who was very friendly and gave me many options for fixing the problem I described to her.  She even educated me on some of the new products and technology now available for HVAC that are good for the environment and can save you money.  She scheduled an appointment for a repairman to come out in a very timely manner.  The speed of the service call was much appreciated because June in Austin can be brutal without AC.  
&lt;br /&gt;Adam the repairman was both efficient and thorough in his assessment, but what really impressed me was that he explained what he was doing along the way.  It turned out that I had poor filtration and my unit was bogged down with dust and debris.  
&lt;br /&gt;Before calling Christian brothers my house was sweltering and I was dreading having to max out my credit cards to fix my AC.  Instead I have a AC in perfect working order and I have a general idea of how my system works.  
&lt;br /&gt;I would tell anyone I know with AC problems to call Christian Brothers.  They are friendly, professional and most importantly honest.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I feel that it is appropriate for me to add a review of my recent experiences with Christian Brothers AC, since my original decision to contact them was based solely on the near perfect online reviews that other customers provided; all very well deserved.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I recently had to replace an outdated HVAC system in a rental property that I own.  I had already spoken with four local AC companies, and had narrowed the field down to two bids.  Upon reading the nearly unanimous five star reviews for Christian Brothers (I believe that they had one review with only four stars?) I decided to call them to get a third quote before making my decision.  Adam called me that afternoon to confirm the appointment.  He showed up on time, looked at the current system, and reviewed all of my options regarding high efficiency AC?s without trying to sell me on things that I did not need or want.  When everything was said and done, Adam was able to beat both of the other bids, and was able to have the system installed the next morning!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The install team showed up on time, was very professional, and left the house in the exact same condition as when they arrived.  I received two calls that day from Marissa, updating me on the status of the install (one mid-way through the installation and one when they had completed).  She also called me the following week to schedule the City of Austin inspection, and to ensure that everything was working as promised.  Even the City of Austin inspector commented on the flawless work that Christian Brothers consistently does.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;At the end of the day, Christian Brothers won my business based not only on price, but their professionalism and level of service.  I truly feel that they were committed to taking care of me both during and after the sale.  I am very happy that I took the time to read their reviews and contact them, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality AC company.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Mike and Julio were professional during the install and made sure the nick on the wall (new return ducts) got painted.  The extra mile was coming out after hours a week later to check the 2nd unit (not part of the original work) when it started to act up and get it running by the next morning. After calling Christian brothers, they had someone come right out and diagnose the problem.  They gave us options and really made me confident in the choice that we made.  It is never a great time having to replace an entire a/c unit, but Ryan and Roland came out first thing in the morning and had our upstairs cold in no time.  Our new a/c is almost too cold! I called them first thing in the morning and Yvette answered the phone. She was very nice and set up an appointment for me that very same day. The tech showed up right on time and was the person. He fixed my problem and explained to me what exactly was wrong. &lt;/p&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I am so impressed with Christian Brothers A/C.  Their employees are polite, respectful and clean.  I have not had any workers who have cleaned up after themselves as well as these guys did.  I originally had a repair issue on a Friday.  They were scheduled to come between 12-2 but had another job that delayed them.  They communicated with me by phone all day long beginning at 10:30 in the morning.  I was told if they weren't able to get there by 6 p.m. that we would need to reschedule.  Ryan, the technician, arrived at 5:55.  I was worried that he would be in a bad mood and rush through my job but instead he was pleasant and stayed until 7:30.   I needed a new A/C.  To make a long story short, I met with Adam to discuss what I needed.  I also got another bid from another company.  Christian Brothers was a bit more expensive and were not planning on a few things.  I spoke to Adam about this and he was willing to meet the price and do the other things.  The technicians came to install the units.  They were there on time when they said they would be, they worked hard for 2 days and they cleaned up so well that you didn't even know they had been there.  I would highly recommend Christian Brothers for A/C repair work and installation.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Don't normally write reviews, but figure this one is worth it.  I haven't even had my A/C installed yet, but already gone through the process of getting a bid and signing the agreement.   I got bids from FIVE A/C companies here in Austin, and Christian Brothers was the least sales-y when they came for the consultation.  Josh was our guy and he explained all of the options and gave us new alternatives to cooling a room that was added on to the house after the last A/C was put in.   He was very thorough and said he'd email me with a quote the next day.   I received his quote and he gave three options, so my husband and I were able to choose what we wanted instead of other A/C companies only giving us the highest option!!!   They carry Lennox and another brand and we chose Lennox based on the warranty.   Anyway, we give Josh an A+ for customer service.   We are looking forward to the actual installation so we can have a more efficient home.  &lt;/p&gt;</description>
