Love it Love it Love it!!!
by Mary R.
I have put four children in this day care, spaced apart by four years. Every one has loved their experience, and my now ten year old still talks about the snow cones and swimming they did there. I am not fond of day cares, and don't put a lot of faith into what a staff member says. But when your children always have a smile when you pick them up, and don't cry when you leave them, and only have fond memories, well, that tells me what I need to know. I would definetely recommend this place to anyone.

Great School for over 40 Years
by John C.
My child went to Rabbit Hill School for more than seven years. The campus is very unique in that it is spread out over 10 acres, has its own swimming pool and gymnasium, and maintains a "country atmosphere" (unlike the crowded suburban day cares and schools we had previously visited). We loved the teachers and staff. I was very surprised, then, to read the first posting. I am not sure what RoxannaC.'s experience was, but it sounds dubious. She lists numerous blatant violations of the Texas CPS standards. I know all schools and daycares in Texas are regularly inspected, the results of which can be researched online. Rabbit Hill scores as well as the rest, and having been in business since the 1960's, they have probably been inspected more times than any other day care center in the area. I never saw any of the problems she listed. So, I picked up the phone and called Rabbit Hill and asked to talk to the director. It seems they did have a problem with a recent employee who was let go, but they would not go in to any details. I suggest, as with any internet reviews, you call the school or go by and visit Rabbit Hill to see for yourself. If I still had pre-school or elementary age children, I would have no qualms putting them in Rabbit Hill.

Think Twice! I wouldn't take my child there.
by Roxanna C.
I've known several people who have worked there and several people who have taken their kids there. Did you know that when it rains, the school floods, especially the two toddler rooms next to the office? The rooms are infested with mold and other toxins that are making the kids there sick. Did you know that when it rains the horse manure from the property next door washes down the hill and into the playground? Did you know that the children are constantly moved around from building to building each day making it difficult for the parents to even know where exactly to pick their children up at the end of the day? Did you know that with what they charge you for tuition per month, the majority of their teachers aren't making more than $9.00 an hour, if that much? Did you know they're required by the state to have a mandatory fire drill on the first of each month but don't? Did you know they have the HIGHEST teacher/child care provider turn over rate in ALL of Georgetown? Did you know that NO supplies are provided for the staff to do projects with your children? Did you know that with all the money you pay to send your child there, the do NOT provide any new toys for the classrooms? Did you know that for staff meetings all they require is for their teachers to sign a piece of paper stating they attended a one hour meeting that never occured? Did you know that when/if your child is running a fever well over 100 degrees, they don't bother to call you and inform you unless the child has additional symptoms of illness? Did you know that legally, that's against the law? Did you know that in LESS than a year they've had 8, that's right, 8 of their teachers quit? Think twice before you take your child there, they're cheap, but your child's well being and safety isn't worth the risk!
