My boyfriend and I decided to make Crapitto's part of our New Year's Eve plans....and what a wonderful choice! The valet service is great. The atmosphere is very charming and warm. Our waiter, Luis, was unbelieveable!! Very knowledgeable and gracious. The food.....It was magnificent!! My boyfriend ordered his ribeye medium rare and it came out more medium well, Luis corrected the problem immediately...and with a smile :) I can't wait to go back!!
Pros: great valet, great food, great service
Cons: pricey

Crapitto's has a nice ambiance. The service is good. The food was quite good, except, my wife had the veal picatta and the veal was tough. Desert was average, nothing special. Dinner for 3 ran $170 including tip - a bit pricey. A table in the corner became very noisy. The valet service is excellent.
Pros: ambiance, service
Cons: cost

All of the great reviews I read on Crapitto's were right on the money. The restarurant's setting and ambience were low-key and very nice. The food selection was great and the service was excellent. Good wine selection as well. The restaurant met and exceeded every expectation. Don't miss out!
Pros: excellent service, reasonably priced, nice setting
Cons: on street parking

The "Lunch Crowd" is always interesting. Day Bartender is a Vixen who knows how to pour a drink, serve lunch and keep the whole bar entertained at the same time. Dinner is a little more low key, however, you never know who might walk in and stir things up a bit. Food, above par, over-sized portions and good wine list. Definitely try the Tres Leches and the Cheese cake for dessert.
Pros: Valet, Private Dining Room

Upon arriving, the first thing I noticed about Crappitto's is the service...the waiter was extremely friendly and interested in finding out what our tastes were...afterwards, he suggested a wine to go with the entrees....I picked the "Pasta Diablo" for my entree and was rewarded with the freshest version of this spicy pasta dish that I have ever tasted, along with a nice Hess wine that the waiter suggested.....after this I had the chocolate molten dessert which can only be described as being heavenly.....after I was making my remarks to my wife about how impressed I was, Frank Crappitto (The owner) came by the table and personally thanked us for dining with him....overall, a truely great value for Italian food in Houston and a mystery to me why it is not more crowded....
Pros: Great Service, Inexpensive, Not Crowded
Cons: Location

After giving up on another well known establishment because the parking/valet was lacking on a rainy evening, we decided to try Crapitto's without a reservation. Even though the restaurant was obviously quite busy, we were promptly accomodated. The food, service, ambiance and valet service were wonderful and we enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration!
Pros: good parking, good value

We dined here for the first time a couple weeks ago and our only disappointment was that we hadn't discovered Crapitto's sooner. The food was terrific, and our server was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. I especially appreciated the "grown-up" atmosphere, the reasonably-priced wine list, and the wonderful tortellini soup. We can't wait to go back.
Pros: High-quality food, Great wine list, Cozy, intimate

Crapitto's Cucina is tops! The food is delectable. A particular favorite is the Pollo Pamela (grilled chicken with goat cheese and roma tomatoes - YUM!) The Snapper Dr. Louis is also great. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic, the decor has an English 'study' feel but the best thing to study are the people in the bar. It seems like everyone there is always having a great time. The management and staff will take care to treat you like a welcome guest and make sure to provide you every amenity available.

This place has it all: outdoor dining, romantic setting, great party room upstairs, fantastic food! You can't go wrong here for any occasion. The staff is attentive and professional, and friendly. The have open dining, as well as private rooms, and a great bar that is popular any time of day. A Must Try!
Pros: great valet service, food is excellent, staff is incredible
Cons: none

I have to say that the calamari is amazing... also try the lasagne. There are usually some pretty great specials that are not on the menu- ask your server.

The food at Crapitto's far surpasses any other Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at. The service is as great as the food. It has a very comfortable family-type feeling whenever you walk in the door. The employees take time to introduce themselves to you-and work hard for you too. Not something that you always see at restaurants these days. Filled with great fun, great food, and an overall great eating experience.
Pros: Great Prices, Great Wine, Valet Parking

The best Caeser Salad anywhere! The fish dishes are always wonderful and fresh. Frank Crapitto can whip up something special for you if you ask nicely!

I only wish I had found Crapitto's sooner... Went for dinner on a Thursday night with 5 friends, and everything was perfect! The pasta with shrimp and jumbo lump crabmeat was wonderful, as were the snapper and the salad with grilled chicken. The bar is something of a scene as well. I can't wait to go back!
Pros: wonderful service, excellent food, great drinks

Crapitto's has the best service and food in town for a real restaurant with get real food. The staff cares and I am especially fond of the owner, Frank Crapitto, who is an old fashioned restaurant owner one expects to see in Midtown or on Mulberry Street in little Italy. The staff is stable and loyal: they care about the place and it shows! By the way: the cost is reasonable!
Pros: ambience, food preferences hono, warm and cozy
