WOW ! ! ! !
These folks are truly One Of A Kind ~ ~ ~

Have used their service department on several occasions, first it was a non-drying dryer, thru telephone conversations was able to diagnose the trouble and then by purchasing parts from them, was able to fix the dryer. The next time was with a 24 yo, Maytag washer, after a brief telephone conversation was able to determine the trouble was with a faulty/broken lid-switch. Purchased part from parts depart, and washer is back on track ! ! ! ! Glad there are still places like Simpson-Dabney in business, in these economic {difficult} times. Keep up the great/grand Job~ ~ ~ ~

We contacted this company via a referral from a friend. Over the phone, the company made it very clear that our issue could be resolved by replacing an electrical component in the back of the fridge. ??There is a 99% chance this will resolve your issue, as this is common?? they said (paraphrasing). The part was incredibly easy to install (plug and play). Unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue. Within ten minutes of installing the part, we removed it and put it back in the packaging. Naturally, we wanted to return the product but were met with resistance. ??We do not accept returns of electronics,? they said. They also told us that they have a sign that says so in the store, however he failed to mention that the sign is located in their BACK PARTS ROOM, where it is NOT visible from the main sales floor. The owner (who completed the sale) was fully aware we never stepped foot in the back room where we would be able to view the sign. There was no mention of refunds on the receipt. After arguing with them, we recouped about 65% of what we paid, but he would not give us our full money back, even though the product was perfectly good as new. They did not exhibit the appropriate customer service tact that one would expect from an appliance service and parts company that told the customer, ??99% chance?? and had obviously made an error. We feel they stole the 35% of the cost from us, and do not deserve our business, nor the future business of our friends and associates.

I bought a washer from them, and it was superb.l Mr. Dabney was excellent is his knowledge of all kinds of products, sizes, etc for my limited space. He gave me a price that was just a small amt more than I could buy at a large strore (but not much $90), BUT, the SERVICE and care taken in installation and then follow up on any calls or question s I had was why I went with them. They made SURE that I was happy, by making several service calls to my house way out on Walden (13 miles away). I'm sold on them, you can buy things from a salesman somewhere at some big comapany, but you cant BEAT the personalized service you get from this company. I'm gonna buy a Refridge and stove from these gentlemen. Not even gonna shop anywhere else.
