Tammie is a wonderful massage therapist. Really nice and does a great massage everytime. The option to schedule appointments online is convenient. The h-circle membership is a great value. Relaxing atmosphere from the moment you enter.

My husband signed me up for the membership as Christmas gift. And it's one of the best gifts that I ever received since it helps me to get away from my busy life and feel recharged afterwords. :)

I enjoy the serenity of the place since it relaxes my mind and body even before the service starts. The services are great! I go there regularly for body and facial massages. Tammie's my favorite for body massage. Make sure that you book ahead since she's very popular.
If you're a regular, it really pays off to join the membership. Good overall value package.

Great value & great service. I have been a member with Hiatus for about a year and a half & had been going to another facial/massage membership type place prior to. Hiatus is a clear winner -relaxing atmosphere, great range of servcies offered (the plant peel and a massage are my monthly rituals) plus plant based products. Greatness!

My skin reflects my middle years and lots of fun in the sun when I was a kid. With Hiatus/ Aveda's plant exfoilating peels, my skin looks so much dewier , youthful and hydrated. I love the look! And, recommend Lindsay Campbell . She is knowledgeable and skilled at giving facials. It is worth starting with the 4 weekly series of exfoliation. The salon does a package to give a price break. And, I like the VIP membership which at a fixed, low fee gives me a monthly core service all year long.

Hiatus is the only salon I use for waxing - Lindsey rocks! She's always on time, works with my schedule, and works wonders on my unruly eyebrows. I've also used her for facials and been thrilled with her expertise and service. Highly, highly recommend her!

I became of Hiatus almost a year ago and it was the best thing I ever did. I've had services at other spas in the area (brazillian wax, massage, facials etc) and they do not compare to the same services at Hiatus.
Lindsey gives the best facials and for those who aren't shy is an expert at bikini waxes in particular brazillian waxes. The location is great right at Lovers and Inwood - easy to get to from uptown, downtown or even North Dallas. You always feel right at home at Hiatus and they go above and beyond to make sure that your experience is amazing!

I have been receiving facials from Hiatus Spa monthly and sometimes more often for almost a year and can see noticeable differences in the condition and texture of my skin. Each visit is ultra-relaxing and begins with a lovely foot soak and the choice of a scent to be used throughout your service designed to inspire a peaceful and relaxing feeling or a uplifted and energized feeling, you choose. Both Lindsey and Blair are excellent professionals. The spa is quiet, comfortable and full of the "aveda" aroma. I love the products and the services and look forward to each visit. You can't beat the value of the membership for the high quality of Hiatus Spa.

Being a guy who's experience with the finer things in life is somewhat limited, I was reluctant to use the facial treatment gift from Hiatus that my wife had given me. Now that has changed. I look forward to my monthly facials with Lindsay. She is great and the facials are so relaxing (it is hard to stay awake). People notice the difference in my skin and ask me about it.
The atmosphere at Hiatus is calm, clean and relaxing. The staff is friendly and professional. Try it, you will not regret it!

Hiatus is always an awesome experience!! From the moment you walk in the door the relaxation begins...I just recently got the best gift for Christmas-a year long membership to the spa!! I go primarily for facials with Lindsay...she has done wonders for my skin over the last couple of years!! The experience is not only EXTREMELY relaxing, Lindsay also has a great deal of knowledge to offer about at home treatments/products that can help you in between your treatments! I would highly recommend this spa and in particular Lindsay!! Don't wait til the last minute though, she is always booked!! It's an awesome way to relax after a long day/ week!! Without a doubt the best Spa experience in Dallas...take the time to treat yourself!!

I've been an H-Circle member since last April. I love the facials, massages, and the waxing experience is actually pleasant! The ladies bathroom is always stocked with plush towels, plenty of great products to use, and a hairdryer! The only downside, is that I usually shower after my treatments and the water takes forever to get hot! The staff is always very nice, and they make you feel welcomed and relaxed from the moment you walk in the front door. It's a quiet, private, relaxing atmosphere where you can escape from the crazy world for a couple of hours!

I have been going to Hiatus Spa for a few months now. I have had a wonderful experience every time! I love the Aveda product smell and the cleanliness of the spa. It is also a very relaxing and calming atmosphere. I have been to other spas for waxing service, but Lindsey is by far the best. I have never had a problem getting an appointment. I am afraid though that I will now once others find out about Hiatus. :)

YEAR NOW, AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED. THE SERVICE I RECEIVE FROM LINDSAY
WHO DOES MY FACIALS IS EXTRAORDINARY. SHE CUSTOMIZES THE PRODUCTS FOR YOUR SKIN
TYPE AND THE MASSAGE IS TO DIE FOR WHILE YOU ARE STEAMING. THE LOCKER ROOM IS CLEAN
AND FULLY STOCKED WITH PRODUCT FOR YOU TO USE. THE ROBES ARE VERY HIGH END. I HAVE
HAD FACIALS IN OTHER CITIES BUT NONE COMPARE WITH THE ONES I RECEIVE FROM LINDSAY.
YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE ANYWHERE AND WOULD RECOMMEND JOINING THE CIRCLE TO
EVERYONE. IF I LIVED CLOSER, I WOULD GO EVERY WEEK.

I have been a member of Hiatus for over a year now and i love it! I am a regular with Lindsay's facials-and she has really cleared my face up and made it glow. But call ahead cuz she is always booked up!! And there's a reason why!! I have not had a service there that i did not love-the other facial girls are wonderful too when I have gone to them. Andrew is my favorite for massage. I was having major back problems and I went to him and I cannot tell you how much better my back is now. I love the face products and the bath salts are amazing!!! Join.....-the membership allows you to get more services and spend an afternoon being pampered!!! I love Hiatus!!

I started going to Hiatus for eyebrow waxing when they first opened. I had just been through a terrible experience somewhere else and my brows were way too thin. Lindsay worked with me to grow them back in and encouraged me to be patient in the interim! She's the best! The whole staff is very helpful and friendly, and it's always quiet and calm there.Services are great and reasonably priced. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great spa with a personal touch!

I stumbled upon Hiatus over a year ago and just resigned my second annual membership. Lindsay is fantastic for facials and waxes while Nira and Tammie give great massages. I usually go twice a month. Their customer service and flexible hours make it such a wonderful experience. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a facial or body treatment and haven't in over a year. Thanks Lindsay, Nira, and Tammie.

I joined the "h-circle" at Hiatus Spa after receiving a gift certificate from my fiance last Valentine's Day. The salon is so unique and personal. The front desk staff is amazing and so personal. They always knew me when I came in and even ask about my upcoming wedding. Everything is personalized: from the online scheduling, to the correct shoe sized slippers, to the aroma you pick before your service. I loved the facials from Lindsey and the massages from anyone! The only reason I left the membership is because I moved to Florida! When I left, I had no problems cancelling my membership. I plan on going back anytime I'm back in town.

I joined almost a year ago and I intend to stay a member. It offers excellent value for the service and the staff all make you feel very welcome. Lindsay, Andrea and Blair have all given me very good facials (botanical skin resurfacing and perfecting plant peel are my favorites), and I've had some good massages, as well. The one body wrap I had seemed goofy -- wasn't worth it. The spa is always clean and well-maintained, and the ambience is serene and indulgent, without being anywhere near over-the-top in terms of luxury. It's just a nice way to treat yourself and be comfortable. The products are on the expensive side, and I tend not to be into buying them, but no one is ever pushy about that stuff. The online system is easy to use for making and canceling appointments. Highly recommend.

Hiatus is the Total Spa Experience. You can sign up as a member and book online with lots of appointments to choose from. It's always peaceful and serene, a very calming environment. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The staff is very welcoming and makes you feel well received without being pushy. Lindsay and Nira are my favorites! I am currently doing an acupunture treatment series and am experiencing a new level of wellness. Thanks to all. PS. also a great source for all Aveda products.

I was given a gift certificate from a friend to try Hiatus Spa and I'm glad I used it. I immediately became a monthly member as I finally received the best facial to date. I've tried many a spa- from the Crescent to Riviera, the Grand Spa to Exhale and Bliss at the W Hotel and I would like to say that I have never received a better facial than I did at Hiatus!

Lindsay has saved my skin and she's the best esthetician around! She's not only focused on the face- she incorporates massage on the hands and feet (whilst you're steaming) and also a scalp massage. I see her every month and I recommend her to all of my friends and they are all raving about it, too.

It's always a great experience- a fabulous staff, cleanliness is always a priority, it's quiet and relaxing and above all else... it's affordable. I look forward to my monthly treatments and I will be a member for many years to come.

Pros: Great spa for the price and is surrounded by restaurants and shopping!

What a great way to pamper yourself without having to pay the super-high price tag on other high-end spas! A good friend treated me to a facial with Lindsey... and I am now hooked. The spa has a high-end feel so although you can sign up for a monthly membership it IS NOT like the other places around town. The location is perfect if you have extra time to grab lunch or window shop. It is immaculately clean, has very professional, friendly staff, and offers an all-over amazing spa experience. I've met the owners as well... if you meet them you will understand why this is such a high-class spa. They were both so gracious and committed to making sure I had a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend Hiatus to anyone who enjoys facials or massages in a high-end environment without the high-end price tag. I LOVE IT and look forward to my next visit!

After a year as a member, I think I have tried all of the spa services Hiatus offers. I have yet to be disappointed. The staff is beyond professional and the setting is serene. If you need an afternoon of pampering, I would recommend the Caribbean Therapy treatment. If you only have an hour, any of the facial and massage choices will whisk you away. The staff personalizes every treatment and you will feel refreshed and like a rock star when you leave!

Hiatus Spa is the best purchase I have ever made for myself. Every staff member is helpful and gracious. I have had several different types of facials, and I have been impressed with all of them. I recently had the new plant peel, and my skin feels amazing! Andrea and Lindsey are so great at what they do!! I recommend them very highly. They always make you feel comfortable, and I never feel rushed. They only use Aveda products, and this makes the experience even better. They offer a very wide variety of services, and the membership is very reasonably priced!! You will not regret a trip to Hiatus!!

From the moment you walk in the door, the staff treats you with a level of service befitting royalty. Each staff member is extremely professional and thankful you are there. The salon is impeccably clean. The decor, ambience and amendities all entice you to relax and enjoy. The massages short or long, have elements, (aroma therapy, soothing music, heated beds, hot towel soak, quality of oil) that I only found in the highest priced salons. I have been many places and only rarely had this great of an experience. Even better, the price is right. The waxing I have had done is also flawless.

I have an HCircle membership and I look forward to my visits to Hiatus every month for some pampering. The staff is great...I love the decor - beautiful colors and sounds...Great place! The massages and the facials are unbelievable. I highly recommend Hiatus.

The massage therapists are amazing and the staff is very hospitable & professional. The facility is impeccably clean and the ambience is very relaxing and soothing. I have been to several spas in the Dallas area and hiatus outshines them. Sheila and Kristin have a genius concept with hiatus which is shown by their proven success with this spa!

Every time I walk into Hiatus, the staff is friendly and warm, the lighting is perfect and it even smells good:-) I love the facials and massages, every one better than the last. I love Hiatus! I'm not a member (yet), but I frequent as much as possible! We recently threw a bachelorette party there...15 girls...the spa all to ourselves for a few hours. It was worth the money and everyone was so accommodating, fun, knowledgeable and easy to work with. It was one of the best bachelorette parties I've ever attended. Even if you're just looking for a massage or great facial, this is your place! I've never been disappointed!

This spa is great - as a full year member it is extremely affordable but the service is top notch and the salon itself is very clean. I have been going there for several months and have had over five different massage therapist and all of them have been great. It is very easy to get an appointment.

I visit Dallas frequently on business. A regular stop for me has become hiatus spa + retreat.
The Aveda concept surely takes this day spa to a higher level than any other spas I have experienced.
The emphasis on aromatherapy and Aveda's innovative advances in the green movement make this a destination I don't want to miss when I visit Dallas. The interior is contemporary and very calming. Love the Hershey's kisses. The staff is well educated and very personable. Kudos to all involved. I can't wait to come back to Dallas...... Janice/ Austin, Texas

From the minute you walk into the spa, to the minute you leave the staff is so very attentive and helpful. They have the most wonderful facilites with lockers, showers, and products to use after your services. To save a little money become a member of the H circle for a year and you get one service a month for only $49. If you want any extra services that month, they too are only $49. I recommend the botanical facial. Lindsay Campbell, who is one of the estheticians, does an absolutely wonderful job. She customizes the products she uses to your skin type and how you feel that day. Everything is very personal at Hiatus. I would recommend it to anyone.
