The business at the Helotes (Bandera) location has always been awesome. I was a newcomer to piercings and Shelly did all 6 of mine over the span on about 2 months. She was always in a good mood, never made me feel like I was bothering her and knew how to hold a good enough conversation to keep me from being nervous.
Even the tattoo guys would say hi and introduce themselves. I definitely rate it at the top! I think if anyone would have an issue with them, they should try to have these guys and gals remedy the issue before making a bad review. But that's just me. :)
From what I hear the shop needed some help. Well I think they found it. The owner/manager is super efficient and makes sure everyone is comfortable at all times. Not to mention that the shop is always clean and you can tell the artists really value what they do. The art is always perfectly done and they do a good job of creating amazing art suited to you. I've gotten two pieces done at Absolute and just recently took 3 of my friends to all get some ink done. Try it and you'll love it!
First I?d like to say ?Absolute Tattoo? on Wurzbach Rd is super clean.
I had an old tattoo ready for an update, faded old pigments that looked like a large bruise and a name that looked like I had an 8 year old put it on for me.
It turns out what I needed was a cover tattoo. The artist at Absolute Tattoo was very patient. We talked it over and came up with a fix. My tattoo looks great. I love the new pigments. I plan another trip back soon.
I was interested in getting a custom tattoo and shopped around at several different shops before deciding to let Absolute do the work. I went in one day and described to the artist what I wanted and he said he would call me when he had some scetches for me to look at. I got a call back and was really blown away by the beautiful scetches. I decided on an indian warior looking rather tired sitting on the back of his horse after a battle, It took up a large part of my back and took several sessions and many hours to complete. I was very satisfied with the end results. The prices were competitive with other shops but the work was in my opinion superior. I would definatly go with the superior work since it will be sommthing I will have to live with forever! Thinking about getting a tattoo save yourself alot of shopping around and go here first!

Watch out San Antonio! looks like absolute tattoos is getting a whole new make-over inside and out. I went in the other day and met their newest artist STEVE! i highly recommend him! i love his work, and he's very down to earth. i have no regrets with my newest rose tatt and will be returning very soon. thanks Steve!
Pros: great atmosphere and very clean
I came to Absolute on a recommendation for their artist JC. I left a deposit and made an appt and came back the following Friday for the tat. When I got there the next week, they tried to give me to a different artist, they quoted me a price and took my deposit but never gave JC the artwork and did not tell her about the appt. Plus, she was working at the HWY 90 location that day and they didn't tell me that either. I finally made it to the HWY 90 location but JC changed the price they quoted me but did tell me she would do more detail and make it worth my while. She did, I was not disappointed there. But, I do NOT recommend the shop on Wurzbach at all.

My boyfriend and cousin recently got their tattoos there. they were very satisfied with the final products.!! mad props to Mark! His tattoos are to die for!! he has mad potential! I like the staff there! They make u feel very comfortable and relaxed! They are very trustworthy! Frankie is great and his wife! This place is my number # reference!

i myself got angel wings tattooed on my back. my artist did a great job on his work, was very fast. the staff there was very friendly and socialable. they had alotta customers stop by that night that had alotta question bout getting piercings and tattoos. the staff was able to answer the customers very quickly,friendly and effieciently. i myself am gonna go back to them and i am gonna bring them business.
My piercer at Absolute Body piercing and tattoos was very professional and very courteous. He splain the after care throughly and clear. They were great. After going to several places in town and out of town, I am very please with my piecing as well as my tattoo. This guys are very professional and I am going to recomend this shop to all my friends and family.
