Don't go here if you are looking for ambiance! This is a low-cost, authentic Mexican food eatery. Located at Spring Creek Pkwy and Alma, it is always busy at lunch! Prices are fantastic.

Sure it isn't the best decorated restaurant but it is the best Mexican food you will ever find in plano believe me because I have to eat Mexican all of the time so I think I should know a little. They have the best salsa for the chips and it's made everyday that is why sometimes it seems spicier then the last time u had tried it. And don't get me started on the chilles rellenos best in the world I always get that plate when I go. I've gone to el pueblito since it open and that has been a long time and I always try to go there once a month maybe more. That is how good it is

The atmosphere is not upscale, but the food and the margaritas are good. We've tried the fajitas, burritos, and tacos, among others. We haven't had a bad meal here. Decent rating for health inspection as well.

The food here is good and the prices are great! However, the refried beans here are the best ever. I actually crave them during my pregnancy. Not a typical plano are restaurant...very laid back.
