PLEASE HELP ASHLEY ROSE
On Friday, August 28th, at about 1am on the premises of Mama Margies, (Southside location, San Antonio, Texas) Ashley Rose was physically abused by an SAPD police officer. Ashley, a 21 year old college student with aspirations of teaching and working with autistic children, was professionally diagnosed by a physician with excessive bruises and swelling to her arms, back and legs. An attorney has been hired on behalf of Ashleys family.
Ashleys crime?... Asking for her money back from the Night Manager on shift at Mama Margies on the evening of August 28th
Several witnesses have already come forward and have agreed to testify as to what they saw that evening.
Please assist us in our campaign to bring justice to the individuals responsible for this atrocious act of violence and physical abuse.
MAMA MARGIES and the SAPD officers involved must be held accountable for their actions.

McManus, Chief of Police, in his message to the city of San Antonio: The San Antonio Police Department demands a high standard of conduct and discipline from its officers in order to preserve the necessary trust and confidence within the community we serve. Where was the high standard of conduct and discipline from its officers on August 28th?

I love the atmosphere, I love their bacon and egg breakfast tacos. On Wednesday nights they have karaoke, it's so packed! So plan to get there way before seven to get a seat. It's a great place to go with your family, with your significant other, or just with a bunch of friends. It's cheap for really good food too!! OH & their sweet tea is one of the best in San Antonio!! :)

I haven't tried it yet but plan to today at lunch.
I wanted to see their menu online before I went but their site is down. In this day and age, that's a troubling sign.

I enjoy going to Mama Margies for a good satisfying lunch that won't break the bank. Their caldo is very good on a cold day - it is hearty and satisfying. Their mexican plate and enchilada plates are both very good choices also.

i have never been so satisfied as the day i went to mama margies for the first time. the food is to die for, and the best part ,it always tastes just as good if not better each time i go. there margaritas are awsome and always affordable. I will always remain a weekly customer.
