well i was going to look there to get my wedding dress n other wedding stuff.... but one good review outa like seven is NOT good!!! Now where to go???

Where do I begin???? My son had his groomsmen get fitted for his wedding at the San Pedro store: (1) I paid for both my husband and father to get fitted (2) When my husband went to get fitted, no record of his name anywhere so they wanted to charge him again (3) the tux selected for my husband was NOT the tux received (4) the groom's shoes soles became undone at the church! Literally flip-flopping! One of the ushers traded shoes with him (5) and here's the unbelievable part, when I mentioned to the kid-grandson of the owner what happened, he answers with "so what do you want me to do about it?" How about a freaking apology? NEVER,NEVER,NEVER,NEVER,NEVER GO TO EDUARDOS! Their TV commercials are shams and they should be ashamed of themselves!

I just got off the phone with someone at Eduardo's who needs some SERIOUS customer service training! I called about 5 stores in San Antonio and asked them to look up a bridesmaids dress. They politely did that for me. I haven't had luck finding it, so I called this place. Here's how the conversation went:

Guy: Eduardo's
Me: Hi, I'm trying to find a certain bridesmaids dress; if I give you the designer name and style number, can you tell me if you carry it?
Guy: What??
Me: I was just wondering if I could give you the style number of a dress I'm trying to find. Can you look it up for me?
Guy: Something about a style? What??!!
Me: (Getting annoyed) Yes, I have a style number for a bridesmaids dress. Can you tell me if you carry it?
Guy: (sounding irritated with me) Hold on

I was on hold for about 4 minutes, and he never returned.

I called back and asked him the same thing, in about 4 different ways, and he said that they DON'T do that. And that IF I GAVE HIM MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER he could. What kind of operation are you running? Before I could ask anymore questions, he HUNG UP ON ME.

So I called back. I said "Sir, I just want you to know that I've called several other bridal stores today and they've all looked up the dress for me with no trouble at all. I don't understand why you can't do that, and you're losing my business today." Before I could do anything else, he said that I would have to come down there to actually find out if they carried whatever style I was looking for. Then he hung up on me again.

I hope the people running this place realize they will not be able to keep business up with their terrible customer service. I realize the customer is NOT always right, but they do deserve common decency, and simple manners. That guy needs to go back to kindergarten to learn them.

A place like this, where it's pretty obvious that they don't have any respect for customers, doesn't deserve to have your business either.

These people are very shifty. They give you a price and if it looks like you might walk away, they lower it (probably closer to what it should be). Don't be fooled though, they change it when they start processing the order. When we were there getting flower girl dresses, we were heavily pressured by the saleswoman to order from a certain company of dress-makers because, " they cost a little more, but give you more fabric allowances to get a better fit." When the dress for the older child arrived, they told us it would too hard to fix, and it would not look right on her body. We were initially told we had to pick another dress. THE SAME LADY THAT SOLD US THE DRESS AND MADE ALL THE SUGGESTIONS WAS NOW SAYING IT WOULDN'T WORK!!! AND NOW WE WERE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY A BOAT-LOAD TO GET THE SEAMSTRESS TO "FIX IT". To add insult to injury, she got really rude and practically made my mom cry for asking her to clarify a few things. The saleswoman got defensive when she couldn't keep her story straight. This was at the Eduardo's on SW Military, but I've been to the one on San Pedro and they're pretty useless too.

If you are in need of a wedding dress or dresses for the maid of honor or bridesmaids, eduardo's is a great place to go. Everything is reasonably priced, in fact sometimes it seems too good of a price. They take expert measurements and will do any and all alterations in the store. They will keep doing fittings until it is right and store the dress for you. An excellent local place that has been around for awhile now.
