The Steam Team Carpet Cleaning Austin

I called the Steam Team when I saw their offer on "groupon" and got 3 rooms steamed cleaned & treated for $69.00. What a deal! Even though we have a home carpet shampooer, I knew they would do a better job by far and I was NOT disappointed. Matt was on time, very polite & efficient and I will call him back when needed.

Matt showed up about 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, which was certainly not a problem (though we were told we'd get a 30-min advance notice). He was very professional and a real pleasure to deal with. The carpet cleaning was very thorough with a lot of attention paid to detail. I'd certainly use The Steam Team again. Ask for Matt!

I called The Steam Team on a Thursday at 0755hrs. I got the answering service and left a message that I would like information on getting some work done. To my surprise I got a call from Tiffany, who sound amazing, to follow up on my request. She answered all my questions and was supper nice to deal with. She said she could have a guy to my place in two hours. We agreed on the following day at 1000hrs. Matt arrived on time, took a look at the job and advised me of the best way to proceed. He worked steadily and did a fantastic job. He made sure I was pleased with his work before getting out the paperwork. I would like to thank Matt and Tiffany for very professional and courteous job. I highly recommend them.

I need the carpet both cleaned and stretched. Matt Hagebusch arrived on time, quickly assed what needed to be done and got right to work. He was able to complete the work in a timely manor. He did a very good job.

Matt Hagebusch did a fantastic job on our rather old and very dirty carpet. He was on time, professional, and went to extra trouble and effort to retreat some very stained areas and even to tidy up frayed edges. Carpet looks 100% better. Will definitely use The Steam Team again

My wife and I just moved to Round Rock and purchased a 13 year old house. Its no stretch to think that the carpet needed some work done on it.

I called the Steam Team and they were really flexible on scheduling, making taking off from work much easier for me.

Matt from the Steam Team came out, gave me a really good assessment of what could and couldn't be done to stretch and improve the look of the carpet, before starting any work. I appreciated his input and advice and was very pleased with his work. The carpet looks much better and we should be able to enjoy it for several more years. Thanks, Matt!

I had some problems with the hardwood floor refinishing, however customer service was great and all issues were rectified. Managers work hard to make sure you are satisfied, and I had no problems getting a refund.

We are putting our house on the market next week and were trying to decide whether or not to replace or dirty, stained carpets or to have them cleaned and offer a carpet allowance. We opted to just try and clean them, but we weren't expecting miracles. Matt, a member of the Steam Team, showed up on time, was very professional and, when he was finished, our carpets looked amazing! Our realtor even stopped by later and was shocked and agreed that our carpets no longer needed to be replaced. We are thrilled with the service and price and will exclusively use this company again in the future. I have been raving about them all morning at work.

The Steam Team is the best carpet cleaning service we have used, and we have used a few. The tech (Anthony) was very professional and knowledgable, and went above and beyond what anyone has done to clean our carpet. The carpet looks brand new, and even my daughters bedroom, which I thought was beyond repair, looks great. The prices are competitive, and there are usually good specials. I will not use any other carpet cleaning company except The Steam Team.

We called STEAM TEAM to help us 'make-ready' a rental house we own in S. Austin. At initial review, we felt a good carpet cleaning, stretch, tile cleaning would be fine... Matt met at the house (right on time), did the review and suggested it might take up to 4 hours... we'll the job was bigger (due to the immense amount of work to complete)... nevertheless, he rearranged his afternoon schedule, stayed and worked none-stop, was friendly and courteous to us the whole day and DID A WONDERFUL JOB! That's exactly what we are looking for in a vendor! I'm super happy with Matt and will recommend him specifically to all our clients and friends.

I LOVED working with Josh, Wes, Cy, and Leo. Everyone was very professional and very very nice. They were great about returning calls, answering my questions, coming to my house several times, and getting me and my house back together after my washing machine overflowed. I had the best experience, much better than I could have possibly expected. Thank you, thank you, thank you Josh, Wes, and Leo!!! I will be sure to tell EVERYONE I know how great the guys were! Everyone went above and beyond my expectations. I told Leo that I will look forward to seeing him in a year to clean my carpet again!! I am also telling all of my Facebook friends about you guys!!! It's rare that the details are so carefully attended to. . . yesterday, my house was once again "Ready for the InLaws" visit.
I realize it takes a team to make one homeowner happy at a time, but I want to say how easy it was for me to continue my maintenance contract, get the job done and feel a bit more educated about how to keep my carpets" picture and party perfect!"

Special thanks AGAIN to Leo, who is a meticulous and artful craftsman who cared about my home like it was his own.
Education goes a long way when it comes to the protective coating spray ( my little dog is thankful too). When a company cares enough to hang on to employees like him, it shows where your values are!

Nothing better than waking up the next day to a "new" house!

Today, Mario and Justin came to give us the whole house carpet cleaning. From the moment they got to the door, they were very courteous, professional, and made me feel comfortable with the work they were going to do. There were no pressure sales and the carpet now looks fantastic. They cleaned up all the areas surrounding the carpet and there were no surprises.

I had these guys over this morning (12/11/08). Here's the situation, we're two bachelors, so of course the carpet was past filthy, and was probably supporting alien life forms. I honestly didn't think it could BE cleaned! But, these guys went to work, did their magic, and what do you know, I have a clean carpet again!! Way cool!! Take it from me, you could go to the discount/coupon guys, but getting it done right is worth the extra $50!! I will always use these guys now!!

They were on time, curteous, and stuck to the price they gave me when I received my quote! I would not want to use anybody else. I have travertine floors and they sent a lady out to give me an estimate first. She came out and emailed me the quote later that day. We handled everything through email, which I loved! If i had to say something bad it would be that they were a little higher than other quotes BUT you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny! My floors look great! The guy that came out, Anthony I believe was his name, was very professional and did a fantastic job!

I have used Steam Team SEVERAL times. In cases of emergencies, I would turn to no other company.
Every time, I have received excellent service. What makes me come back time after time are the little things that other companies don?t do. The friends at The Steam Team take extra time to put up guards to protect my walls and door seals so the A/C doesn?t run out of my house. They use fans to help dry my carpet. Everyone I have come in contact with are very educated and informed. I do not sense any high pressure sales pitch. They are plain and simple = friendly, clean cut guys. As a super satisfied customer, I felt the need to let the public know who to choose.

The Steam Team just came out to my place, and I had to write a review letting everyone know what a positive experience I had. I have used The Steam Team many times over the years and have never been disappointed. However, I've never written a review for them before on Citysearch. This last experience convinced me it's time to let everyone know just how great The Steam Team is at what they do. They are fast, professional, thorough, and friendly. What more could you ask for in a cleaning company?

I called The Steam Team not too long ago to see if they could clean my travertine tile. The customer service representative assured me that they cleaned this type of tile on a regular basisand that I would be in good hands. She also gave me a reasonable quote. After the cleaning, I would have to agree with the customer service representative because my tile looks amazing. I am so pleased with The Steam Team and will continue to use them. Thank you!

I was wanting to get my carpets cleaned and a of friend of mine recommended that I choose The Steam Team, so I gave them a shot. I am not an easy person to impress but they blew my expectations out of the water! The gentleman cleaning the carpets was professional, yet friendly, the service was outstanding, my carpets have never looked better and the price quoted to me was very reasonable. I am a customer for life and will continue to recommend this company to anyone who asks for a great carpet cleaning service (just like I did). Keep up the great work!

I just had The Steam Team out at my house to clean my air ducts a couple of days ago, and once again, I am extremely happy with the work they did. I have used them in the past for carpet and upholstery cleaning and have been impressed so I decided to use them for the air duct cleaning. The Steam Team consistently provides quality service and that is why I will continue to use them.

I would highly recommend the Steam Team. They were prompt, professional, friendly, and thorough.
They were never pushy about doing anything beyond what I asked them to do as well.
When I called the next day to say that there was still a cat odor remaining in one spot, they didn't hesitate to offer to return the next day to work on it some more. Which they did. And even left me some extra
enzyme to use for future problems. I was really pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend The Steam Team to anyone. Called on a Saturday morning to get an estimate for a house we just moved into. Someone was on site before noon. The team was extremely courteous and professional. We didn't have any carpet or upholstery done, but the work they did on our ceramic and travertine tile floors and countertops was exceptional. (We weren't sure if some slate flooring needed cleaning, so one of the guys did a test patch. Turns out it didn't need cleaning after all.) Also, the dispatcher had told us we would have to wait until Monday to have our HVAC ducts cleaned, but the guys had the necessary equipment on the truck and took care of it while they were there. Our house went from smelling like its age (72 years) to fresh and clean in about two hours. Amazing. We will definitely have them back every year or so for regular cleanings and as often as needed for spills, etc.

I have just had the most wonderful man (Mario) from the Steam Team clean my carpeting throughout my home. That is what I THOUGHT I was getting. However, he went on to show me what a difference it would make to my kitchen and bathroom tile to have it cleaned and sealed....it looks like a new floor. In addition, he cleaned my couch and living room chairs making them look fresh and new. He then tackled my draperies leaving them looking brand new.

I took the day off to have this done, but I feel as though I have accomplished so very much in a short time. My whole house sparkles, and I am indebted to Mario for not only suggesting these services, but happily carring out this transformation. He definitely gives new meaning to "Customer Service", and should be considered a valued employee by the Steam Team. I have been doing business with the Steam Team for almost 10 years, but I have never been so pleased with the outcome of these services until today.

I'll be the first to complain about bad service, so I want to be one of the first to commend the service experience I had recently. My daughter and her father were horsing around in the living room and knocked over a glass of red wine. I used City Search to find a good carpet cleaning company. I chose The Steam Team; they came out that day. Jay was courteous, efficient, and took up the stain in almost no time. I'm very pleased and would recommend The Steam Team to friends and family in the future.

Everything from the customer service to the cleaning was spectacular. Over the years my rugrats have caused all sorts of damage to the carpet in my house. I figured the carpet needed replacing but my friend Sally grinned and said "call The Steam Team." I made the call and I am so thankful! My daughter had vommitted red kool-aid all over the living room floor. I called The Steam Team, and although they were booked solid, they were able to fit me in. The office staff was very courteous, polite, and helpful. They even gave me a few pointers on what to do with the stain during the time that I was waiting for the "professionals" to take care of it. Anthony was very professional and knowlegeable. He got the stain out of my light-colored carpet and didn't try to pressure-sell me anything. A couple of days later, the manager called me and asked me if the stain came out and if I was happy with the service. I seriously would have paid double. I will never use anyone else!

I called The Steam Team in a panic after my dog broke a window to get in the house during a storm and got mud and blood all over a brand-new, expensive yellow loveseat. The Steam Team sent someone out that very day. He immediately calmed me down (I couldn't even watch while he cleaned the loveseat). When he was finished, I couldn't even tell where the mud and blood had been. He also offered to treat it with stain-resistant coating, which I appreciated. He was professional, courteous and prompt. I was very pleased.

Needed to clean some old carpet stains. They are easy to schedule, on-time, nice guys but at the end did not get the stains out at all. Only had the steam rake and some spray to work with and it did not get the job done. They don't stand by their unconditional guaranty - "If at any time you are not completely satisfied, we will do whatever it takes to rectify the problem." - not for me.

I have had my carpets cleaned by many different companies but I finally found one that is affordable, professional, and good at what they do. They were able to clean my furniture, tile, and carpet for a very competitive price. They were a little higher than a couple of other places but you know the saying, "you get what you pay for". Everything in my house looks GREAT. I could not have asked for a better experience. I am recommending The Steam Team to everybody I know!
