A-Unicorn Moving

Worst moving experience we ever had, and we have moved several times. Just about every piece of furniture was scratched, including an antique chest. If you are brave enough to use them, pay for the extra insurance, you will need it. They were over an hour late, beyond the 2 hour window they gave us. Then they forgot to take some of our furniture off the truck. When we realized it was not here we called and they said it was not on the truck and must be in our house. The next morning it miraculously showed up on their truck, but took another 3 days before they go it to us. Call somebody else to move you.

I used these jokers to move from Austin to Houston. It was simply the worst moving experience I've had. The packers came the day before and left without finishing packing. The movers arrived 3 hours late the next day and threw a fit when they saw everything that was left to pack. They spent the next half hour on the phone argueing with their boss and the next two hours doing a sloppy pack job. They arrived 4 hours late to Houston from the specified time they had given me from when they left Austin without any explanation. They broke a table and two hanging pictures glass frames. They refused to pay for anything. I offered to take the items for repair and provide them with the receipt but they still declined. I received a check for $ 100 in the mail 2 month's later only after I threatend to take them to court. The cost of the repairs were $ 400.00.

The office I work for needed some of their extra office desks, chairs, and things moved to our storage. We scheduled an early move [8am]. The movers with Unicorn Moving were awesome! They arrived right on time, moved everything quickly and without wasting time or breaking anything. They were friendly and very professional. I'll definitely be using Unicorn for my next move!

Have used Unicorn Moving twice. When they moved my wife and I they actually arrived a little early instead of late. They had a pleasant attitude and did a very professional job. I was so impressed, a year later I hired them again to move my mom and stepfather out to their retirement property. She was also impressed, especially since they had just put in a twelve hour day moving them. She called me a week later happy to report that nothing was damaged.

Unicorn Moving provided fast and affordable service w/o trying to sell me additonal services I didn't need. They even threw in a couple of wardrobe boxes for free. They scheduled my appointment on the day that I wanted and arrived on time. Nothing was damaged and the movers took their time to move the larger items so as not to damage them. Thanks Unicorn!
