interesting breakfast. but the pastries are not as good as they claim to be. too pricey. but try the spinach empanadas and the beef. sometimes their customer service needs help.

Shop with lunch items and pastries. They made a large two tiered birthday cake for my family. The cake looked good but could have tasted much better. Customer service is not their number priority regarding specialty orders.

Our company orders from them all the time. Usually the cake is amazing, but they are always late! Plus they will not come into the building....you must go to them. I ordered a cake and got a montrosity! When I told them I didnt want it and I wanted a credit they said they would come pick up the cake; which they never did. After questioning them on when I would get a credit I was first insulted by being told I ate the cake, then they said I was just arguing with them cause I didnt want to pay them! That cake was so hard it sounded like a brick when you tap on the side. They never came to get it. I threw it away before I left. Like I said normally the cake is the best in town.....but you got to deal with their HORRIBLE service.

Arandas is pretty much the big player in Mexican bakeries, here in Houston - but I prefer Rustika. More subtly flavored than the stuff from Arandas, I like their artisan pastries, especially the empanadas. The staff are warm and efficient, and the coffee here is great, too!
