I took my 1978 Jeep CJ7 to these guys. My jeep looks fantastic. They did a nice two color paint job. Most important though is how they told me about various paint options and the costs associated so I knew what I would be getting for what I spent. Britain and Larry were nice to work with.

The work that these guys do for these prices is awesome. If you bring a peeling or rust bucket in and want the cheapest paint job of course it's gona look like crap. At this company you get what you pay for. If you want a good paint job pay the cost........ If u want a dealers paint job go to the dealer..............

Wow! Beautiful! Econo Auto Painting and Body Works on Burnet did a great job on my 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab! At 10 years, my truck's paint had faded in spots. I also had an accident, so body work was needed. It looks fantastic! And, the price was one third what the dealer wanted. Thanks!

TOTALLY SATISFIED !!!

I bought an 8 year old 15 passenger van for my large family. It had been in Ohio for a couple of years and was showing some rust. I shopped around for a paint shop and seeing the good/bad opinions on most wasn't sure how my experience would be.

After detailed consultations with Jay at the Burnet Road Econo Auto Paint, I decided to take my business there.

Jay was professional, courteous, and completely helpful in working with me to select color and type of paint for my needs.

I took my LARGE van in on a Wednesday morning and had it back by Friday morning. All the guys did an EXCELLENT job, prep/sanding (believe me there was a LOT of that), masking, painting - the whole deal.

I'm getting wonderful comments from everyone that sees their work.

Excellent job guys !!!

I called today and spoke to the Manager, Josh. I am looking to get my bumper repaired. He was extremely professional and offered me several choices from the cheapest to the most expensive. I plan to go by and let him look at my Camry to see ehat will be the best option for me anf my budget. I will be sure to write another review when/if I use Econo Auto Repair.

Don't waste your time or money. I took my classic there for a little rust rehab and primer and they clearly don't tape off the edges of the car. I knew they wouldn't remove trim, and that it wasn't going to be the most spectacular job, but these guys painted over rubber seals and metal trim that will now cost much more than the paint job to replace!!! I mean, are they blind? They painted over my wiper mounts, wiper motor, almost all window seals, and the chrome trim that surrounds the windows as well. Like I said before, my car is really old so these parts are either NLA or very expensive. Thanks for nothing, Econo Crap.

I was going to let these guys paint my trailer but after what they did to my daily beater I decided to have my friends pet monkey do it instead. I wouldn't let them paint my demolition derby car.

You can't beat the price with these guys, and the work is up there with body shops charging THREE TIMES the PRICE. I have had work done on 4 different vehicles and am totally satisfied.

I have had several cars painted, over the years at Econo on Ben white and have always had friendly, courteous service. After having received an estimate several days earlier, I brought my Mustang in for some body work and to have the care repainted.First let me say the paint job was very good and was done in 4 days. However expecting the same courteous treatment as before I had the misfortune of being confronted with the new manager, Manuel, who has the distinct talent of making you feel that he is doing you a favor by taking your business. He actually wanted me to pay for the parts in advance. When I balked, he asked if I wanted to take mt car somewhere else. I ask what happened to the friendly service I have had in the past, he said "things have changed."
Bottem line, if you want to be talked to like your not worthy to be standing on the property, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would suggest the Econo on Burnet Rd.

When I went to pick up my Honda Accord from the Econo Auto paint on North Burnet Road, the color wasn't quite right. Instead of being a dark green, it was more of a blue green. The manager volunteered that the shop would repaint it at no cost. I had to wait four weeks for the first paint job to fully dry. I took it in again and Econo repainted it. The color was a match to the original color.

This is the worst paint job I have ever seen. They didn't even try to make it look nice. The paint is chipping, cracked, bubbled and has painted in dirt, not to mention the obvious lack of talent in the body work. I have to completely start over now.

Others here have mentioned this manager Manuel. He was so rude, disinterested, and incompetent that a couple times I actually thought he was joking. It was as if he was doing me a favor by letting me pay him for work! Plus he didn't return my calls. Just an incredibly unpleasant and frustrating experience. There are hundreds of alternative body shops... pick one.

I brought a '98 Accord in for complete paint job. Two days later, my car looked great. Being 10 years old, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a paint job. Econo Paint charged a very modest price, and the quality of the job is superb. I'd highly recommend Econo Paint.

I took my SUV to Econo on Ben White and dealt with the manager (Manuel). He has the worst customer service skills EVER. He was rude and arrogant. I would NEVER recommend this location regardless of the product or the quality of the work. Someone with such a terrible attitude can completely ruin the experience.

If you do use Econo - I recommend you go see Randy on Burnet Rd. He at least is friendly and treats the customers as though they are an important asset for his business.

I have a '95 green Toyota Camry that had a terribly oxidized, faded and peeled paint job. My teenage son drives this car, and it has over 115,000 miles on it, so I didn't want to invest a lot of money on cosmetics. A friend of mine had used Econo Auto Painting on Burnet Road and had recommended it. My experience was that they did what they promised and delivered a good looking paint job. I had read some recent negative reviews but decided to go with my friend's recommendation and am satisfied with my decision and the service that Econo Auto Painting provided.

Instead of buying a new pickup I decided I would just get mine repainted since the body interior and exterior are in fairly good shape.I went to the Burnet road location to have my truck painted by what I thought would be a reputable company. I guess you get what you pay for.I left my pickup for several days when I was called and told it was ready, I returned to pick it up.I was in total shock. Inside the door panels there was masking tape ,exposed wires, over-spray on my tinted windows, over-spray on the wheels and tires. Finger prints on the seats. One mirror was a different color and had not even been sanded, The black trim on my truck body (steps, mouldings, inside wheel wells) had over-spray on them. The bed had been painted inside and out but when you lowered tailgate the inside edges were not painted. I pulled into a gas station a couple of days after picking truck up and to my amazement the gas cap still was wrapped in masking tape laying in the door and yet gas door inside was still unpainted. Even after a month the inside of the cab smells like spray paint. I have since found that even though agreement you sign upfront for work is not applied to work you pay extra for. The extra preparation states remove stickers(what they really mean is paint over know one will notice) believe me when its time to wash your vehicle you will know. I left my pickup with them to take care of some of the things we originally found. The manager Randy put all the bad work off on to his body man and painter. When in fact he showed his lack of manager skills when he didn't inspect the vehicle before he said it was ready to be picked up. When my wife and I returned to pick it up somethings still needed to be done (most of the above,is the second list). I had to take my truck because of an out of town emergency. And was told I could bring it back for corrections. This time I am going back with full picture documentation and Attorney representation, to hopefully get paint job corrected.Would I recommend them to anyone: NO!!!!

I called the Ben White location and described my truck and they said they would be able to paint it. It's a Chevy Grumman - 11' tall and 22' long. I then took it to the Burnett location for an estimate and they said that only the Ben White location painted large trucks and I would have to take it out there. I then drove 30 miles to the Ben White location only to be told that they don't paint trucks as large as mine. Not only did they tell me over the phone that they could but their employees from the other store saw my truck in person and said it could be painted at the other location. I am now scrambling to find a place. They were no help and basically lied to me.

Econo Paint did a super job on my car when someone back ended me in traffic. When they finished with the body work, my car looked like it had never been in an accident. They were the lowest quote and I'm happy I went there. They matched the paint exactly. Great Job!

PROS: Great bunch of Guys!

I went to Econo Auto Painting when I was ready for a new paint job on my 86' chevy truck. I did all the body work myself so all I needed was the paint. Econo Paint did an excellent job on my 'Laguna Blue' wonder truck! They were very affordable (around $300) and at the time the tauno cover wasn't in and they included that in the price! A couple of weeks later a lady ran into me on my way home from work! Arrgh! There went my paint job! The insurance company came through and I took it back for more work. They matched it perfectly and again did an excellent job!

PROS: Excellent Service - Fast - Affordable!
