I called them to check why the dryer drum would stopped after 1.5 turns. The office told me how much it would cost to diagnose the problem and then if they ordered parts and worked on it there would be additional charges. When the service man arrived he was EXTREMELY RUDE. We already had part of the machine dismantled since we tried to see if there was something stuck in there - less work for him too. Needless to say he took the front off, looked at blower area, saw something there and took it out. He then wanted to charge as if he ordered parts and repaired it. I questioned him and he was very aggressive. He was also looking around our house....didn't like at all! Called office and disputed the amount.....they finally agreed to what I was informed earlier and then he stormed out of the house not saying a word. He was only there 15 minutes and want to charge as if he was there 2 hours....it was ridiculous!!!!! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - would not recommend unless you like rude customer service and being extremely overcharged!!! Will never use this company again!!!!

Had a technician come out to fix a broken fridge. After 5 mins he said the motherboard was bad. They wanted more than we wanted to pay for the repair so we told them not to fix it. The technician left very angry. A little later I went to look if I could replace the motherboard myself and found 8 wires cut. The fridge used to turn on but not blow cold air, now it does nothing. Beware! If you make them angry they will destroy your equipment.

Terrible!!!! Don't waste your $$$$
Very unprofessional, came in for 10 minutes told us the motor on our dryer was dead, needs to be replaced. It was cheaper to just buy a new one, and charged us $70. He later called to tell us, he could replace it for $325, its cheaper to buy a new one. The part online is $90???? They charge WAY too much!!!!! Call someone else.

Terrible.....Came to my business for washer repair twice. Still have problem months later. Now they say can't come fix they don't do commercial. Liars and not experienced people or efficient. Would never recommend .

Service was very prompt. However - was quoted $120 for part and $120 for labor (2 hrs maybe??) - $250ish total. Found the OEM part online for $45 (at several sites, not ebay or anything) and dh installed it in 20 min.

I know there's markup on parts - but $75?? and 2 hrs of labor?? Pretty sure I won't be calling them again.

Advanced Appliance is a great place to buy appliances. My experience with customer service was very pleasant. I had gone to another large home center and could not find anyone to help me. At Advanced Appliance they were very helpful even though they were in the process of moving their business. I bought a washer and dryer set and they installed it right away. I would definately recommend going there for your appliance needs.

At Advanced Appliance they were very helpful even though they were in the process of moving their business. I bought a washer and dryer set and they installed it right away. Despite reading the reviews about terrible customer service, I phoned Advanced Appliance on Monday to schedule a repair for Friday (since I was off work that day). I was assured that the technician would call me the next morning to schedule a time for Friday.

No one called until Friday morning at 9:30 (left a message on my work phone which I got Monday.) Thanks to the ratings on this site, I had already called another repair company and had a great repairman out on Friday morning when I was at home. Don't waste your time with Advanced Appliance.

Despite reading the reviews about terrible customer service, I phoned Advanced Appliance on Monday to schedule a repair for Friday (since I was off work that day). I was assured that the technician would call me the next morning to schedule a time for Friday.

No one called until Friday morning at 9:30 (left a message on my work phone which I got Monday.) Thanks to the ratings on this site, I had already called another repair company and had a great repairman out on Friday morning when I was at home. Don't waste your time with Advanced Appliance.

Horrible Customer Service - I called in to schedule and appointment for a Saturday because our washer had broke. I called in on a Monday around 10 am and the lady told me that she would have someone call me right back. That they could probably get out to us late in the evening. I told them that I don't get home until 6:15 pm or so, and she said that she would see if that was possible but should not be a problem. I only called them because they are very close to where we live. Of course Monday comes and goes and no one calls me back. I called them back on Tuesday at 9 am and she said oh yes, she would look into it and have someone give me a call back within the hour. No one calls, so I call them back at 11:15, she said that 6:15 was too late could anyone be there sooner. I told her that my husband was actually getting off work early today and could be there by 5:15 pm, she said okay that she would schedule it and have someone call me to confirm. No call again - big surprise - I called them at 3:21 pm and spoke to a man, who did not know anything about the problem, placed me on hold and then came back and started asking me questions and told me he could come out right away, explained to him that I had already communicated to someone that 5:15 pm was the earliest someone could be there, he said that it was too late. I wish they would have just let me schedule a Saturday appointment instead of wasting two days of my time. Please heed the reviews on this website before considering this company for anything, they are disorganized and very unprofessional.

I've had two fridges that needed service for their ice makers and the guys from AA were prompt, to the point and I never got the feeling I was being gouged for the repair. I will call them again if needed.

we worked very hard to help this customer ...we had sent two different sets of rebates because the customer claimed the first set were never mailed but by the time the second set was sent it was out of the rebate time frame.......but clearly by the rules stated on the rebate it is the customers responsiblity to secure all receipts and rebates at time of purchase which this customer failed to do.........this is also why most companys that offer these type rebates have the forms right on their websites and as far as all her appliances going out on her in the first month this statement is totally untrue this customers only complaint was with her dishwasher and it was repaired in short order by the company that it was warr. through................

I am truly sorry I purchased my appliances there. I bought a range, microwave and dishwasher. I was quoted $225-$250 f or installation by the owner however the delivery/installer wanted to charge me $375! I protested and he agreed to take $325. He installed my mircowave just fine. Then they brought in my range. It was very damaged. The delivery/installer said he picked it up that way. This is NOT the stove I picked out. I picked out from the showroom floor and it was in perfect condition except for a few scratches on the side. I called the owner very upset and they said they would take it back and send a different one. I drove out there to make sure it would be acceptable before they delivered it. I thought it would be OK but after hooking it up I found that the top of it is not secure. Then on to the dishwasher. It leaked so I called and told them so. The repair person came out and said it was a factory defect and would have to be fixed by a factory rep. Since I had not used it I told them to forget that and pick it up. The owner called and asked if he could send a different tech out to fix and I told him no, just pick it up and if you don't have one in perfect condition just give me my money back. They sent a different machine out with scratches on the front and a damaged drain hose..which the repair person told me had to be a KitchenAid. Then he said he didn't have one and those things just can't be bought the same day so I told him to take the dishwasher away. The owner called and said he found a hose and would bring it buy that same afternoon. After the bait and switch with the range and now this, I just asked for my money back. He hung up on me and refused to take my calls. After a lot of grief my money was returned. Bottom line is that the savings is not that great and when something goes wrong it is HELL to get it right. I would not recommend Advanced Appliance at all.

I had a microwave that had problems and I called Advanced Appliance. They were very friendly and gave me alot of information on the phone. They were able to work on it quickly and get it back to me. I thought the price was very reasonable. I felt like I could trust them with all appliance repairs. I have not bought an appliance from them, but I hear they have good prices. I will give them a shot if I ever have to buy one. I like doing business with locally owned businesses.

We have used Advanced Appliance for their repair services when we had trouble with a gas leak in our oven. We didn't have to wait an outrageous time for the service, the repairman showed up when he said he would be there, and the repair was completed fairly quickly. About a week later we once again could smell natural gas in our kitchen and called to Advanced Appliance. They put me on the phone with the repairman who completed the service and after hearing the new problems, he gave us advice on where the problem was likely coming from and how to test it and tighten the connection. With his help we were able to take care of the problem ourselves, rather than facing another service call fee.

This place has fantastic prices on large kitchen appliances. Most are "damaged" which in most cases means the box was dented. We bought a freezer that was in perfect condition (we thought) for a fantastic price. It arrived, had a problem right away, so we called them. They brought us out a new one (it was even bigger than the one we originally purchased) right away. They will take care of you.
