5 Stars: Very honest (by Chuckman)

I've been going to Joe's auto for several years. First honest to the core mechanic I've ever found. Once he diagnosed my Grand Cherokee just by my silly description of the sounds- Then jacked it up, tightened two bolts, and sent me on my way for free. When there was a problem with a repair, I brought it back and he dropped everything & fixed the problem. My truck has never been in the shop for more than a day, no matter what the problem- New front drive shaft, new a/c system, whatever. The guy is good.

5 Stars: Great and honest work (by JonathanHouston)

Joe's was recommended to me by someone who works in the car industry and trusts Joe's with a LOT of repair work every year. I have not taken a highly customized car to Joe a number of times. He has been extremely Honest and fair in his prices. He has always fixed what was wrong the first time. The one time I had a custom built alternator and he didn't feel his original work was performing as well as it should so he rebuilt the alternator for free. I trust Joe and will continue to take my cars to him.

5 Stars: Long Term Customer - Truly Pleased (by David M.)

I have taken 6 different vehicles ranging from a foreign sports car, to sedans, to pickup trucks and SUVs to Joe's over the past 10 years and always have found Joe to be competent, honest, and fair. Without exception. There have been several times he told me the problem he initially diagnosed based upon my description turned out instead to be minor and wasn't what he thought it might have been once he opened the hood. In those cases I rarely get charged, and have to push some money on him to take care of his time looking into it. He takes care of everything for me from tuneups and brakes to tires and batteries. I always get a fair deal and he always figures out the problem. He is really knowledgeable. Joe and his help is as honest as they can come.

1 Stars: JOE BLEW IT! FROM THE SERVICE TO THE WARRANTY...... (by dtownurbangirl)

MY CAR WAS RUNNING HOT AND THEY DIAGNOSED AS A THERMOSTAT! SO I GOT THAT FIXED AND I PAID AND LEFT. THAT SAME DAY MY CAR OVERHEATED, WHICH CAUSED EVEN MORE DAMAGES SO THE CLOSEST GARAGE I COULD MAKE IT SAID, "IF I FIXED IT ORIGINALLY RIGHT, I WOULN'T HAVE NEED A NEW ENGINE NOW."
I'M SO UPSET I'M GOING TO CONTACT MY ATTORNEY FOR WORK PERFORMED THAT WASN'T EVEN NECCESSARY OR PROBABLY EVEN THE PROBLEM AND PROMISES THEY MADE EVERYTHING WAS OK. BE AWARE. BE VERY AWARE.

5 Stars: Very Honest, Very Reliable, Very Effecient, Very Competent Mechanic (by mapkay)

Joe takes care of my family cars and has for a few years. He finds problems before they cause bigger problems by taking care of the whole car, not just taking care of the immediate problem that the car was brought in to get fixed. He and his staff are very competent. He uses OEM parts. With just a short description of the noise or behavior of the car he can diagnose and correct the problem within 1 day, usually. He calls with an exact description of the problem(s) he found and a cost estimate before any work is done. He has always explained the operation of the broken part so that I understand what is being done to the car, which is helpful to me. My neighbors speak highly of him. They encouraged me to try his shop the next time I needed a mechanic. I join them in recommending Joe's Auto Repair.

2 Stars: Joe doesn't know. (by janejones1021)

I had a check engine light on and they said I needed this and that. After, I paid these for those items the check engine light was still on and my car was still running bad. I was upset and left and went somewhere else. Though, there prices were a little cheaper but there work showed it.

5 Stars: Honest, Reliable, Efficient, and On Time! (by pygar)

Great work. Joe is honest, and extremely reasonable with his pricing. His estimates have always been dead on, and the work completed on or before the time quoted.

I would highly recommend letting Joe earn your business before using one of the 'chain' repair shops in the area. I had 2 of the local chains try to rip me off on simple repairs. An example is a simple alternator replacement that would take me an hour to do, a skilled mechanic maybe 20 mins. The part can be had at your local auto part store for $95, but the chain stores wanted 385-435 for the part and 2 hours to install it. My total bill from Joe was $155. I paid a reasonable mark up on the part, and reasonable labor and didn't have to mess with losing time off work to take care of this myself.

Take it from someone knowledgible in auto repairs, Joe's is fair, honest, and a good shop to trust your business to.

5 Stars: Trustworthy mechanic! (by russell_l)

Joe's garage may not look like much, but his service is timely and inexpensive. Joe might be the nicest person I have ever met...extremely willing to go the extra mile. He called 5-6 places to price a part for me to find the best deal. I called 5 auto repair shops to get an estimate for a new water pump - he beat everyone by $50 and finished the work within a few hours. Highly recommended.

5 Stars: Honesty is Joe's policy (by mhkilgore)

We have been going to Joe's for years and the honesty and integrity behind this shop is a constant. When we have been prepared to pay for a new battery, we were told, "no charge, still under warranty"! (I didn't know!) How many other places would be that honest? Not many that I know of! This is one car repair place that does NOT take advantage of their customers and gives consistently great customer service!
