So much fun

Texas Rock Gym is so big! I love that there are 2 facilities, one where you can rock climb with a harness, and one where you don't need one. It's a great place to take the date, friends, and family. It's clean and neat and the staff is very friendly. I like that there are vending machines all over the facility. Price is just right.

Texas Rock Gym is sort of self explainatory - a bunch of rocks! It is seriously the biggest rock gym I have seen. They have easy, medium, and hard walls and you have to have a belayer to climb. They also have some small areas where you can climb without having a harness. They rent the gym out for the night to birthday parties or scouts troops and all the kids love it. in the back they have a nice area with a ping pong table, basketball net, and more. They have great instructors who help you as well as a locker room and vending machines. We will definitely come back here again!!

Great Birthday Parties!

I had a birthday party for my son a couple of days ago and it was more sucessful than any other party we've ever had. The kids had a lot of fun and the staff took care of everything, so i was able to relax. Its important to make sure that all the kids have their Liabilty Waivers (you can print them off their website). You have to bring your own belayers (people who hold the ropes) but the safety course they go through is short and enjoyable. They have two big party rooms complete with an arcade and a basketball court. The parties last about 3 hours and they even have all-night parties called "Lock-ins". I highly reccomend having a party here! My son and his friends are 10 years old, but they have paries for younger kids and even adult corporate events. I got a lot of praise for having the most original party of the year!

Have fun and stay in shape at Texas Rock Gym!

I first came to the Texas Rock Gym a couple of months ago and now i have a yearly membership. I wanted to stay in shape without jogging outside or being on a treadmill and this is a great solution. I was a bit hesitant at first, but the friendly staff made me feel at ease. I've made a couple of really good friends at the gym and I'm proud to say I'm now considered a "regular".
There is usually some event on the calendar at Texas Rock Gym and they even offer Tai-Chi and Yoga classes. Its very easy to check out their website and read about the upcoming events.
Climbing is for people of all ages and it's a good family activity. Another option is hosting a Birthay party at the rock gym. I've never had one, but a couple of my co-wokers have told me that they were great. Just make sure all the kids have their Liablilty Waivers!

Pros: Fitness, Staff, Crowd

Cons: Saturdays get pretty busy
