South Grand Prairie high school is in a declining neighborhood, but has held on to high academic standards and growing enrollment. Grand Prairie High school, often referred to as North Grand Prairie High, is in a better neighborhood but doesn't do as well in academics. IF you can, get your kids in South. Or, go to private school. Evangel Temple, for example.
