I just love this place, and atlast my husband went with me to have dinner, he loved it! hes very picky esp about tex mex. Our waiter was Chris, a very nice young man and good worker! I have allergies to almost all foods, and got the avacado enchiladas and shrimp with celantro sauce, was FAB!!! the price was perfect, service perfect! we will be back soon!

I am from South Texas and therefore super picky about any new Tex Mex restaurant I try. I avoided this one for a while, but it came recommended to me by a number of Downtown Garland folks. I finally decided to try it one night, and I was not disappointed. Not only that, but I was nicely surprised by the house coffee, which is better than the usual burnt stuff they serve in food places. Put this on your list to check out. They are open 7 days a week, starting at 7 am. Went there again for breakfast; they have a good cheap breakfast menu starting a $2.99. This is my new, local after- Saturday-night brunch spot. Get there before the churches let out and you'll have the whole place to yourself--unless you bring your party crew with you.

Best flan I've ever had, homemade on location, smooth, creamy and a great way to end your meal. Love the wait staff, they remember who you are and your preferences. Very accomadating.

I been in this restaurant several times food and service are excellent I will highly recommend this place. The restaurant change owners, they are friendly and they are trying to keep up the good work..... Is sad to mention this since everything has been so excellent I go to this place 3, 4 times a week but the other day my server which name is ANA (I FOUND THAT ON MY RECEIPT) was really busy talking with other customers that she completely forgot my food until I look at her and she came out with my food which was dry and hot, she didn't apologize or nothing, but not for this I will stop going to get my Avocado enchiladas which are delicious.

This place in downtown Garland has wonderful Mexican food. I have eaten here several times especially at lunch. All food is great. Prices very reasonable. Waiters and staff friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place for Mexican food.

This place has fantastic Tex-Mex food. Try the chicken sopas. These are the best tortillas I have ever eaten - thick and tasty. Nice and friendly wait staff also.

I think we first went to Dos Banderas to watch Austin Cunningham---they have live music in the bar from time to time---and he's a national-quality musician. But anyway, we were thrilled to discover that this little Mexican restaurant tucked away in old downtown Garland is the real deal. The food has a bit of originality without being untraditional. It's filling without being grease-laden, the prices are good and the service is representative of a privately-owned business with a whole staff reflecting the owner's pride in his restaurant. Dos Banderas actually captures some charm of oldGarland that most people drive too fast to see. I would definitely go check it out!
