They are horrible. They didn't treat the cat right and wanted $575.00 for it. I'm reporting them to the BBB. A huge rip off. I went to a different Vet who did a good job for less. They are horrible, horrible, horrible!!!

I do not recommend anyone take there pet here. The receptionists were clueless and the vet. techs were so rued and not helpful at all, especially one a Mrs. Plourde. You say you love animals but obviously not. you expect these people to care more than anybody since this is your passion. So please go else where.

I had purchased a puppy for my family right before christmas. It turned out that the puppy has been exposed to the distemper virus possibly at the breeder. Our vet suggested that we take our puppy to VCA. In the end our puppy did not make it, but the doctor and the entire staff was absolutely wonderful to us. No matter how many times we called to check on our puppy a staff member was always patient and courteous. Whenever I asked to speak with the Doctor he immediately got on the phone or returned my call in a timely manner. Though we are still deeply sad that we lost our puppy we could not have asked for more caring or kind people to have helped us through this very difficult time.

We have never written a review before, but feel we should warn people about this Vet clinic. We took our Puppy there for shots and felt we were being over charged for "extra's". We went back one month later to complete his treatment , and they took a stool sample. Another month later we showed up on an emergency visit to check an injury to our puppy's leg. First of all, the Dr. told us the worst case scenario, as if it was a given. That basically, our dog would lose function of that leg or have it grow smaller than the others. After they were sure we had signed on the dotted line, $$$, and an excrutiating 30 minute wait... The Dr. told us he had just pulled a muscle ! Oh, and then asked us how we were treating our dog's Giardia ! What Giardia ??? No-one called us to tell us his stool results came back positive !! Oh, and did we know it can pass to human's ?His responce was that it slipped through the cracks but hey, nothing bad happened, so why worry ? So, another $150 later, on top of $500 for Xray's, we left and won't be back. We are disgusted at this place.

The vets are very rude and could care less about your pet. They will charge you a lot of money and do nothing for your pet. My 12 year old dog has been having seizure like symptoms for about 2 weeks. The vet said there isn't anything he is willing to do except send my dog to a neurologist for an MRI. I don't think my dog needs to go to a specialist. It doesn't take a brain surgeon, pardon the expression, to try some medication and/or diagnose something. They also lied to me and told me my dog's blood tests were normal. I finally took my dog to another vet and showed them the blood tests. The results were so far off even I could have seen it. If you care for you pet please find a vet who cares.

I have used Metroplex for many years now. There are approximately 7 vets on staff; and these individuals work extremely well together. The vets, individually, are excellent, and better, if there is a question, they will seek out another vet who is on staff for a second opinion. This is a clearly a team effort. Because they are open at nights, weekends, and holidays, it does not matter when your animal becomes ill, there is vet on duty to provide care. Lastly, because they are a 24 hour facility, if your animal must stay overnight, there are vet techs and vets on hand to monitor their health at all times. Receptionists are also very nice, excellent. Grooming is also provided, the staff there take wonderful care of my dogs.

My pomeranian was attacked by a pit bull. The vet didn't even bother shaving my pet's coat to see if there were any injuries. She just looked at her and gave her a shot and sent us off. By the end of the week my poor little girl had a lump on her side so I took her to my vet and told them the recent history. The first thing the vet tech did was shave my pet's coat to see the extent of the injury. Low and behold my poor little girl was torn to pieces from her shoulder to her hind quarter, bleeding and infected. This vet charged $23 more than my normal vet for the visit. I have contacted the vet but have not heard back yet and it won't matter if I do hear back, I would not recommend them to my worst enemy! My poor little pomeranian is going to have to suffer days of pain and medical attention due to the fact that this vet did not thoroughly exam her in the beginning.

I bring my cockatiel in 3-4 times a year for nail clipping and every time they make it very easy. The building is spotless, the staff is very friendly, and the price is reasonable. The seem to have a regular turnover in avian specialists (about once a year), but the different doctors I've met have all been top-notch.
PROS: clean, friendly service
CONS:

I love this Vet! My dog is really scared to go to the Vet but the Employees here are really good at making him relaxed and not so frightened! The employees are really nice and they offer great prices and wonderful service! The Facility is really nice and doesnt smell foul at all like a lot of vet clinics do!
