Tapestry Dance Company is a professional, non-profit dance organization in Austin that was founded almost 19 years ago on the purpose of developing a foundation in multi-form dance performance & education. It is home to seven resident artists, a diversified administrative & production support staff & a pre-professional & adult training facility. Whether an aspiring ballerina, a closet 'hoofer' or you're just looking for a good workout, Tapestry has a place for you! As a beginner or professional, you can add a little rhythm in your walk. While you're at it, introduce a friend to the art of dance. Our programs for children are aimed at increasing self-confidence & self-expression. The focus is on guiding and providing the tools necessary for our students to become dancers in the truest sense: through their art, they share themselves with their families & their communities.

Dance instruction is fairly good, people are friendly and classes are fun. The facilities, however, are sub par and leave a lot to be desired. The floors are torn up and dirty and could use some repair.

I took tap dance lessons for the first time at this studio. The class was very good and I learned a lot. They have great instructors. The studio is a little cramped, but otherwise very nice.

Amazing!

I have been taking dance from Tapestry for about 3 years now and I have loved every moment of it. There are amazing teachers and a wonderful atmosphere. I very highly recommend Tapestry who anyone who is looking to learn how to be a great dancer.
