This store is fantastic! Looking for a unique, New Age gift for a hard to shop for person - or just a free spirit, this is the store to check out!

I have been going to Cassy's since I was 18 years old - that's ten years. What never fails to amaze me is that I am always greeted by name and with a smile. Most places simply do not have that kind of personal touch, even for long term customers.

You have nothing to lose by checking Cassy's out, and you do have a lot to gain, in my opinion.

Cassy's is a haven for many people. Offering spiritual guidance and wellness classes and workshops, Cassy's also offers a wide variety of items raging from Native American, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian and Wiccan items.

Cassys multicultural Gifts and Healing Centre has been serving the Spiritual Community since 1993. They offer a serene, supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere in which people can express their true selves and bring forth their Inner Healer. It is our goal to provide individuals with the spiritual tools and support they need for their individual life paths and relationship with the Creator.

Cassy's offers a variety of Natural Healing Therapies which include Reiki, Shamanic Touch, Chakra Balancing, Gemstone Therapy, Ear Candling, Earth Medicine & Nature Therapy.

Also, Cassy's offers various classes and workshops open to the public. Additionally, since 1999 Cassy's has sponsored three Community Drummings. Also open to the public - these gatherings allow us to celebrate our community, our spirituality and personal celebrations specific to each of our need.

Cassy's offers an in-ground "Bear-Lodge." This is a sacred space for Healing & Purification of the Mind, Body & Spirit. While cradled in the womb of Mother Earth, the participants in this sacred ceremony are given the opportunity to detoxify and heal themselves on all levels using the steam created from hot lava rocks, herbs, and the water of life as well as prayer.

Cassy's will schedule co-ed lodges, women's lodges, and lodges for private groups. There is never a fee for a Healing Lodge; however, love offerings or donatons of wood are always appreciated.

I think the world is better with Cassy's in it - I know my world is better.

Cassy's is very unique to the Abilene community. They sell incense, books, jewerly, some clothing, charms and many more interesting items. They cater to a multitude of alternative religions, but offer something of interest to just about anyone who wonders in. Cassy's also sponsors drumming ceremonies to celebrate every Solstice, and will send invitation reminders to customers who request it.

PROS: Huge variety of specialty items
CONS: Parking is behind the building and difficult to get to
