Lowes now owns Big 8
by Anonymous
This WAS a locally owned groccery store. The prices are not THAT high. (or weren't, I haven't stepped near there since stupid Lowes took over.-no offense Lowes...)
The part below is what it was, as in before Lowes took over.
The meat was fine- and if you didn't like it all you had to do was tell the manager or owner or something smart like that. (This is when it was owned by a local people.) If you have a problem with how they do contests then again tell the manager and stuff! (don't forget to ask)
They owners were generly nice people and so are the managers. If a cashier or someone who works there is rude or you have a problem, report that problem! This is a locally owned store and it's much harder to run then you think, so why don't you try it and see if your prices arn't that high, and also I don't like Lowes.
Now it is owned by Lowes so I guess since I don't know how it's changed, I'm done here.

This is a locally owened grocery store. The prices are high and the meat is not great quality. When they have contests the cashiers don't give everybody a form. I hate the way if you need stamps the cashier has to call a manager to open the safe to get them and most times they don't even have them in stock.
