Distinctive Floral Designs

Thank you for the beautiful flowers that you created for Jennifer and John?s wedding last night at St. Vincent De Paul Church and the Courtyard on St. James. Jennifer was very specific about the color palette she wanted for her flowers for the ceremony and the reception. You listened to her vision and made it happen.

Jennifer and John both commented on the alter pieces and loved them.

When they walked in to their reception they were able to preview the room before their guests arrived and they were both wowed by the d?cor.

The reds roses with the purple orchids were exactly what Jennifer wanted.

Their guests were thrilled that they were able to lift the flowers off of the candelabras and take the beautiful flowers home to enjoy for a little longer.

This vendor (especially thanks to Debra) was so helpful in making our wedding as special as possible. They did a great job and everyone was raving about the flowers! They were flexible and let me change my order even up to the last minute and totally refunded my money. They were very easy to work with.

I just had a session with Nicolet this past weekend and she was wonderful. She took the time to explain and show us things and even did it while being on one leg. If you are looking for flowers for any occasion, make sure you give her an opportunity.She will educate you and also work with you and not run your wedding budget to the ground. Once again check this place out and at least give it an opportunity.

My friend, Gina Witherspoon, who had done some floral work for me before, now works with Nicola Hall at Distinctive Floral Designs so this was a natural choice for me to use this shop for my second daughter's wedding. It could not have been a better choice. These are two of the nicest people to work with...they both went to great lengths to understand my daughter's "vision" of her wedding and the result was PERFECT! When we walked into Ashton Gardens and saw the chapel arrangements, the bouquets and the centerpieces, we could not believe how stunning the flowers were! My daughter kept saying over and over that she was so happy with the way the colors and types of flowers turned out. The deep fuschia and purple and bright green colors just "popped" with the midnight blue bridesmaids' dresses and the stargazer lillies in the chapel arrangements were so fresh and gorgeous. All of the guests were amazed at how beautiful the submerged orchids and floating candles were in the water-filled hurricanes centerpieces at the reception. If I had any more daughters, I would definitely call Distinctive Floral Designs again - they are in the business of making sure their customers are completely satisfied and happy!!!

Nicola with Distinctive Floral Designs just did the flowers for my wedding a week ago and she is so sweet, professional, very detailed and always easy to get a hold of when I had questions or changes. She went out of her way to help my Mom and I and made my wedding day a breeze. I told Nicola what color flowers I wanted and types I liked/disliked. Couldn't have been more happy with what she created. Went back to work today and my co-workers were still complimenting me on how beautiful everything was. I would highly recommend Distinctive Floral Designs. My mom and I even asked Nicola to stay and watch the ceremony, that's the kind of relationship you will develop with her.

My recent wedding was done by Distinctive Florals- I cannot tell you how many compliments I have received on the flower arrangements. I had three separate events, all done by Nicola at Distinctive Florals- each one was so unique and creative and looked absolutely stunning. Our wedding was an Indian wedding, but I felt like the flowers and the linens created the perfect balance between western and eastern cultures. Nicola's decorative ideas were exceptional. There are not enough words how happy my family and I were with the decor (we even incorporated peacock feathers for the reception!).

Nicola of "Distinctive Floral Designs" did the flowers for our daughter's wedding and everything was perfect. Our daughter just explained the look she was going for, roses, and the colors she wanted and left the rest up to Nicola. When we saw the flowers the day of the wedding, we could not believe it. They were fantastic, our guests kept complimenting us on the arrangements. Our daughter was thrilled with her bouquet. The topper for the cake was just right, even the people who made the bridal cake made positive comments to me about the arrangement.
Nicola went far beyond what we expected, she came two hours early, stayed through the ceremony and then during the turn around she decorated the tables herself. She always gave prompt and great courteous service, always willing to answer any questions. We recommend anyone who needs flowers, especially for a wedding to call "Distinctive Floral Designs" for you will not be disappointed. with anything that is designed by Nicola.

On my husband's birthday, I would order flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, etc. and send it to his office. It started out as a gag but has become an annual tradition. As usual, I don't want the run of the mill birthday arrangement. I called Distinctive Floral Designs the afternoon before his birthday. I specified what I wanted and if they can deliver it. The floral arrangement came in a 20 inches tall vase with tall and unique floral. They delivered to his office around 10:30am. Perfect... an entire day for his co-workers to oh and ah and make all the fuss around him that he so not want. :-P THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL and absolutely "DISTINCTIVE" floral arrangement.

I've had flowers sent in the past before but my boyfriend sent me flowers from here and they were absolutely gorgeous! They had limes in the bottom of the vase which I thought was very classy. I highly reccomend them to any man/woman!!!!! Best florist in Houston, hands down!!!!!

I was totally pleased!! Within two hours of my call an absolutely beautiful floral arrangement was delivered to my wife's office for our anniversary. She told me it was the most beautiful arrangement she has ever seen. It really brightened her day, which brightened my day too! I would highly recommend you try Distinctive and see for yourself. I have already placed my order for Valentines.

My boyfriend, now husband, sends me flowers every other Tuesday from Distinctive Floral Designs. The flowers from here are always fresh on time and the designs are always beautiful. My husband and I will not go anywhere else for flowers ever again ... they have class and the latest styles ... from 1-10. We give the an 11:)

I could not recommend Distinctive Floral Designs more highly - I called from out of state for an arrangement to be sent to a friend who'd just lost her mother. Nicola was very helpful, asked what I was looking for, discussed my budget and told me what was available, fresh and beautiful. The next morning, the shop delivered an absolutely stunning arrangement (I was there to see it 2 days later - easily the standout bouquet of many). My friend loved them.

I am so picky and this flower shop rocks! My friend used them for her wedding and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! Prices are perfect and the flowers lastest longer than any other I've received.
