My husband warned me before we pulled in the parking lot, that we would feel like fresh meat upon entering Bill Heard Chevrolet. No joke -- as soon as we pulled into the lot there were about 6 or 7 men swarming to see which would get to us first. We mentioned nonchalantly that we already had an appointment with a particular man there. Our meeting went well, though we were not interested in paying what they wanted for the vehicle we wanted. Mind you, this was on the "new" side of the lot, not the "used."
We ventured to the used side to see what we could find there. The salesman was incredibly rude. He insisted that we test-drive the vehicle we had our eyes on, even though we had just test-driven the same model but new, in the other lot. I could understand that it would be important to test-drive a vehicle in case there was something wrong with it, but if we were that interested and got to that point, we probably would have driven it. Meanwhile, we just wanted a price, and the guy kept insisting we needed to drive it before he would give us a price.
Finally we went inside his "office" (more like a cubicle), while he "went to talk to his manager." Right. We waited. And waited. And waited some more. No joke. We waited about 15-20 minutes, and were getting thoroughly disgusted. Finally we walked out to the lobby area, where he was pacing and getting a drink of water, NOT talking to his manager. He asked us so surprised-like "Where are you going?" to which my husband said that we were leaving. And we walked out the door.

Bill Heard Chevrolet has a nice selection of used and new cars. The staff is always friendly and are not afraid to let you test drive a few cars before you make a decision. They give great deals on trade ins with no hassle.
