Babe's Chicken Dinner House

I love the babe's in Sanger better than the one in Roanoke. Even though both are good, the one in Sanger, TX has more choices to choose from. I love the chicken fried stake.

This is southern fried chicken at its best! The food is always piping hot and fresh. I have eaten here at least 20 times and I have never had bad food. I have eaten the fried chicken, chicken fried steak, chicken strips, and pot roast. I have never been dissapointed with any of my choices. They also offer smoked chicken and fried catfish which I am sure are excellent, as well. The food is served "family style" with all you can eat cream corn, green beans, salad, and biscuits. The only con is the noise in the place. It is usally crowded and the music is always cranked up, but it really does add to the charm of the place! Sometimes they have live music with the servers walking around singing. They have also been known to grab a customer to do the hokey pokey in the middle of the restaurant!

is agreat place to eat. Babe's main course menu offers only
two choices: Fried Chicken & Chicken fried steak. If you are the best
at what you do you don't need alot of items on the menu. Generous
portions and all-you-can eat sides will satisfy even the
biggest home cooked appetites. The sides are biscuits, salad
and the vegetable changes.Their corn is wonderful nothing like
it anywhere else. Closes thing to home cooking you can find
in my opionion. Generous portions and all-you-can eat sides
will satisfy even the biggest home cooked appetites. Babe's offers an atmosphere
akin to a family reunion picnic. If you arrive right at supper time,
be prepared to wait.

This is the food of my dreams. Its cheap they bring it out to you mama's home cookin style. There is free entertainment with the waitresses singing and dancing as you eat (and they are awesome may I add)! It is fun and it is the best homecooked food youll ever eat!
