Mesquite Flats Kennel

The kennel is clean and well kept. When I picked up my dog he hadn't urinated in an extended period of time. It was obvious that the 2-3 times a day playtime wasn't taking place or my dog would had an opportunity to toilet outdoors. The child of an employee told me that dogs don't go outside.

I read the other reviews and was really hoping my experience would be different. However, I don't think that the dogs are getting the playtime that you are promised.

I completely agree with the previous review. Way too many dogs and way too loud. Website shows a lovely new building (currently not being used). Website also says ALL dogs will have play time 2 to 3 times a day; not likely...too many dogs for 3 or 4 employees. When I picked up my dogs they were extremely frightened and were acting as if they had no human contact for 9 days. I would never recommend this facility to anyone, they talk a good talk and make promises they can't keep.

This place is just too big with too many dogs and too loud. I would not leave my dog there again. I also have a feeling my dog didn't get her own food while she was there even though I brought it with instructions. There was too much of it left.

My husband and I needed to have our long haired manx cat shaved due to her being old and she isn't able to reach parts of her back to clean and had become matted with hair. There was one groomer on staff at Mesquite Flats and she went out of her way to come in on her day off (Sunday!) and groomed our cat for us. She came back beautiful, clean, and with a pink bow! Thank you!
