Just received a box of 'Texas Size Avocados' delivered to my door-a gift from friends in NYC and they are spectacular.
They are ripeing at room temperature but one was just breaking so I had to taste it---just like the most delicious butter flavored fruit ever.
A real treat; beautifully packed, and waiting for my next guest.
