This place is a staple of the North side of Fort Worth. They have the best chips and salsa in town. The meals are traditional tex-mex and the portion sizes are large enough for even the most hungry to get full. Great family owned business who does a lot to support the community. Highly recommend!

I ate here for the first time March 21st, and loved it. I had a place I loved to go in Cedar Hill, but I will now be travelling to Fort Worth for this restaurant, it was great, and the best Mexican food I have had in a while!!

Best tamales in town from a large restaurant. Come early, the line is long on the weekends. Great Northside mexican. Also one of the best. Be prepared to get stuffed!

I have always been told you can always judge a Mexican food restaurant by its chips and hot sauce. This is so true here. They have the best chips and hot sauce in town! It is family owned and I have never had anything there that I did not like.

My husband and I eat here at least once a week. The waitstaff is top-notch, the food is consistently good and you feel like family when you walk in the door. Highly recommend their cheese enchiladas -- best in town in my opinion.

Pros: Consistently good food -- best chips and salsa -- yum!

Cons: The interior is a little dark for my taste -- could use more lighting.

El Rancho Grande is somewhere I've been coming since I was a kid, and it is just as good now as it was then. The service is great, very friendly, it is a family owned business, and it shows. Their chips and salsa are the best around.

My family has visited this establishment for almost 40 years - since it was located in the little building next door. There is a lot of good mexican food in Fort Worth, but this one is the best!!! The guacamole is wonderful and the chips will melt in your mouth. The salsa is spice without overpowering heat. My favorite is "la grand fiesta" - a variety of chicken based dishes or my son and I share the fajitas. My husband can't get away from the chalupas or my daughter the tamales. The service is consistently top notch and there is a warm family atmosphere that makes you want to return again and again.

Pros: chips, tortillas, service, atmosphere, quality of food

Cons: sometimes you have to wait

Having eaten at El Rancho Grande years ago and remembering how wonderful it was, I was thrilled to find a "new location" nearby in the Keller area (76137 zip code). We made plans to go there and realized very quickly that the Heritage Way address is a residence. I called the restaurant and was told that the only location they have is the one on Main north of downtown Fort Worth. This misinformation needs to be corrected, I suppose by Citysearch, please.
